The sentence "don't forget your..." had me thinking about those mnemonics used to memorize the elements in the periodic table. Anyone?

*Waves hands around all excited like* none of you know me. I'm the ultimate lurker, but this was TOO juicy to pass up.

Selenium - Atomic Number 34.

Selenium is a photoelectric metal. Photoelectricity is a variation of quantum electrodynamics.

Selenium is NOT superconductive. Superconductivity implies that some metals become more conductive as their temperature drops. Selenium conducts electricity better in the light then it does in the dark. This implies that selenium actually conducts electricity better when it's hot. Light implies heat in the science world...

I believe that I have made a strong connection between this science and Bree's Religion. In Crowley's world, specifically in "Moonchild"... The "light" side seems just as evil as the "dark" side. The order believes them to be these types of "Light" magicians... and they plan to use the "Moonchild" to make them more powerful.

In Crowley's book "Moonchild" a white magician impregnants a woman with a child who has an "ethereal" soul. This child was produced for the benefit of the White Magician... to make him more powerful.

My theory: Bree is the "Moonchild" of sorts. The objective of the order is to use her to make themselves more powerful. The ceremony must have something to do with blood letting, hense the EPOGEN... and not just a bit of bleeding. I believe that the use of Lanthanides signals that the ceremony requires a lot of blood...

I'm thinking somewhere in the designation of... oh, I dunno... ALL OF IT!

This note serves as a warning to you Daniel, and Jonas. They have Bree, and this is her purpose. It all points to her doing the ceremony, and what the ceremony entails. They used Julia to lure her, and with the order running out of time to do the ceremony, they're going to do it soon... and my guess is that she wasn't ment to survive past it.

Act fast!

QUOTED FOR TRUTH!

What foods have more Selenium or Lathanides in them? If Lathanides clot, would foods with that in them be restricted from Bree's diet, so she'd bleed more?

EDIT: Ah, lanthanides are used as markers in nutrition studies, not naturally ocurring in nutritive substances. My bad. But what about the selenium?

from wiki:

Dietary selenium comes from nuts, cereals, meat, fish, and eggs. Brazil nuts are the richest ordinary dietary source (though this is soil-dependent, since the Brazil nut does not require high levels of the element for its own needs). High levels are found in meats found in kidney, crab and lobster, in that order. In the USA, the recommended dietary allowance for adults is 55 micrograms per day.

Okay so this is my first post and my first time ever trying to solve an LG15 puzzle so I have no idea if any of this info will help.... feel free to ignore me.

I'm in physics right now so I looked through my book and could only find a little bit about superconductors. I used the Wiki and found out in 1986 Alex Müller and Georg Bednorz found a superconductor called BaLaCuO (Barium, Lanthanum, Copper and Oxygen). At the time it had the highest temperature of any super conductor, of course there has since been more discoveries. This one stuck out to me because someone mentioned the Lanthanides and of course Lanthanum is the first element in this series.

The next part is where I may or may not have hit a wall. The temperature at which BaLaCuO is super conductive is supposedly 35K but I have found some places where it says it was just in the 30K or around 35K. I was going all sorts of crazy because supercalifragilisticexpialidocious has 34 letters in it. That's why I am trying to find out which number is actually true because if it were 34K I might have something. Of course I could be going in the complete wrong direction. Right now I'm trying to connect all this to the quantum electrodynamics but I figured I'd post now since I'm excited.

!!!!

"Additionally, selenium may help prevent heart attack and stroke by making blood less likely to clot, and by increasing HDL (good) cholesterol levels. "

From: http://www.allstarhealth.com/lj_c/Selenium.htm

It would be extremely helpful if we knew what Bree's diet WAS. Daniel, help us out?
