First: Apo, I'm sorry if you took my questions as a challenge to your work. I didn't mean it that way.

18 Ar
13 Al
10 Ne
2 He
12 Mg
11 Na
Is there any molecule or series of molecules that uses all these elements?

Also, Quantum Electrodynamics includes the study of quantum states of a photon repeatedly striking an qubit (a superconducting artificial atom made of Aluminum [Al?]) The oscillations create an ultra low radio wave.

I tell you all this because it sounds interesting. I don't think It'll have much to do with the puzzle, since "Bree's Dad" wasn't a quantum physicist.

There are times I feel like a geek's nerd.

At first quantum electrodynamics and superconductivity reminded me of Feynman. Bree had a book about Feynman. Does her dad is simply telling her that she should not forget that book 'cause he left something in it?

Selenium - Atomic Number 34.

Selenium is a photoelectric metal. Photoelectricity is a variation of quantum electrodynamics.

Selenium is NOT superconductive. Superconductivity implies that some metals become more conductive as their temperature drops. Selenium conducts electricity better in the light then it does in the dark. This implies that selenium actually conducts electricity better when it's hot. Light implies heat in the science world...

I believe that I have made a strong connection between this science and Bree's Religion. In Crowley's world, specifically in "Moonchild"... The "light" side seems just as evil as the "dark" side. The order believes them to be these types of "Light" magicians... and they plan to use the "Moonchild" to make them more powerful.

In Crowley's book "Moonchild" a white magician impregnants a woman with a child who has an "ethereal" soul. This child was produced for the benefit of the White Magician... to make him more powerful.

My theory: Bree is the "Moonchild" of sorts. The objective of the order is to use her to make themselves more powerful. The ceremony must have something to do with blood letting, hense the EPOGEN... and not just a bit of bleeding. I believe that the use of Lanthanides signals that the ceremony requires a lot of blood...

I'm thinking somewhere in the designation of... oh, I dunno... ALL OF IT!

This note serves as a warning to you Daniel, and Jonas. They have Bree, and this is her purpose. It all points to her doing the ceremony, and what the ceremony entails. They used Julia to lure her, and with the order running out of time to do the ceremony, they're going to do it soon... and my guess is that she wasn't ment to survive past it.

Act fast!
How did you get the 34th element? Did you already realize that the Mary Poppins words has 34 letters in it? :?:

No molecules contain He, Ne, or Ar because those are noble gases. They don't combine into molecules because they have completely filled outer electronic shells.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious :D 34 letters.

34th element.

It makes sense.

the white board also mentions a flock.

which supports my sheep theory.
no.
thats not where i was going with this.

i actually had a question..

does Selenium and Lathanides help blood clot? or thin it out?
im kind of confused on that. i thought they thinned it.. and epogen made it clot..? Therefore, they could help reverse the effects of the epogen. but if i have them mixed up..

Epogen does not have anything to do with clotting, it stimulates the production of RBCs. RBCs carry oxygen around to the body, and platelets clot.

Last I heard, Lanthanides helped to clot, but I could be wrong.

Selenium reduces the clotting factor, but it would have to be present in HUGE amounts in order have any real blood-thinning qualities.

Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman - by Richard Feynman

(It's in the reading list thread)

Nope, Lanthanides and selenium are BOTH anti-coagulants. They cause blood to thin easily... which means bad news bears for bree if they cut her open.

I probably shouldn't have reacted harshly. I apologize.

No. Neon, Argon and Helium do not react with other elements.

I did so with the Dad's letter.

E T L U L S C E E W S D.
If I'm not mistaken, there should be an H in there.. the sentence "I love you very much" is an actual sentence, even though the note isn't grammatically correct then, there IS a period.[/b]
