Just a random thought.
Typically, when a group wants to recruit new members, they have to sell themselves.
That was done here. This organization is counting on the fact that the presentation is done in such a manner as to make people want to be accepted.
They make it sound as if it is some selective group that only a few can qualify for.
The questionaire.

True. People typically want to feel as if they belong. They did a good job of getting people to actually want to become a member of Hymn of One even after already knowing that HoO and the Order is bad.ApotheosisAZ wrote:Just a random thought.

Yes. It is indicative of the type of person they want to recruit. As a comparison, look at military recruiting.kittenishtrance wrote: True. People typically want to feel as if they belong. The US Army recruits people by offering them money for college. The US Air Force does so by offering technical training. The US Navy recruits by offering the idea of travel and adventure.
The US Marine Corps recruits by asking people to test themselves, and maybe they can become one of "The Few, The Proud, The Marines.
This most closely resembles the HoO recruitment method. Like Marine recruiting, the HoO is saying "maybe you can be one of us."

I heard about the "right" answers, but I answered honestly anyway. I got a 70%. I guess maybe the fact that they're looking for certain qualities is supposed to tell us something about the organization?
Rosencrantz: Another curious scientific phenomenon is the fact that the fingernails grow after death, as does the beard.
Guildenstern: What?
Rosencrantz: Beard. . . The toenails, on the other hand, never grow at all.
