I don't mind Sarah being skanky (sex is fun after all), but what bothered me was her whole "omg Jonas you are slowing us down in the search for Bree" when in the last video she was crying about a blister and wanting to go back because of it. What?

Everytime I start to like Sarah (ie getting her back vid) she comes out with a blog on her own that makes me remember why I absolutely despise her.

ETA : I don't think Jonas is being super helpful right now either. Actually all three are being pretty lame.

That's what "slut" means, too, and they both have equally negative connotations. It's because people think when a woman is promiscuous it's a bad thing. I don't believe that's the case. And who says she's being indiscriminate about the partners she chooses? All she says is she has sex a lot, she never said she doesn't care who with. For all we know she's only had a couple of partners. And for all we know she does genuinely like the people she has had sex with, she just doesn't love them or want relationships with them.

Although, I do think that we will see her change with Daniel. I think he'll do her good and show her that love doesn't have to end badly.

ETA (I keep doing that): I also see a distinct possibility of her intentionally avoiding making emotional connections to the people she has sex with because she's afraid of being hurt. She was probably hurt in the past and doesn't want to go through that again. That's what I meant by my last sentence. I think she's going to figure out that what you get out of love outweighs the risk of being hurt.

I am a girl - let's get that stated up front. And no, a woman being sexual is not a bad thing. It's a teenage girl who goes on video everytime she can and talks about sex, masturbation, and all of the places she has had sex --- that's the wrong part. While i am happy that you are joining in for free sex for women, you just misunderstood my point. As far as her being indescriminate in partner choice or not- i have no idea. However in my judgement of the information i have received here it is:

I believe the same thing and maybe the context sarah used to wake up jonas was needed. But it's clear that bree hasn't ever been herself since the kidnapping.

One more thing though: a girl that sleeps with a guy for fun ain't a slut. A girl who uses a guys feelings to get to his bed and then walks out on him that is a slut. (my definition)

I am not a Sarah fan and this video does not help. But I do see the developement for where her POV is coming from. There is pain behind her choices and seeing Jonas hurting is triggering her own sense of values which is rooted in her parents breakup.

Well she seems to think that Jonas and Bree had sex. If it turns out to be confirmed along the series I will be disappointed. In the creators mostly. I am still holding out for another filler video to come out and for Jonas to dispell that myth and confirm his character. Someone can pine and be hurt over a kiss just as much as sex if they care about the person.

If Jonas did have sex with Bree, I will be so disappointed. I don't know if I can say I will commit myself to watching the series anymore if it does go in that direction. If this starts to compromise my values or make me feel compromised inside,... it is not worth it.

I can respect your values, because everyone has them. I have them too, but I think it's good to also be tolerant. LG15 isn't the only show to imply sex, flick on any channel on the TV or go to a rated R movie and you'll see people's value's being tested. Our society is changing everyday, not always for the better, but it is changing.

I don't think the creators want to alienate people, hopefully we won't lose you just because of some silly sex-related plotline. I'm sure they won't dwell on it much longer.

I have been known to turn off the TV, or walk out of a movie, or close a window on my computer if I find the content to be too questionable. I think this is a fascinating adventure, this online story telling in real time with LG15. I would like to be a part of it, but I do know where the buttons are to shut the computer off is. I reserve that right. If the intrigue of the plot takes a left turn and becomes more base I guess that is my stop to get off.

Yes, society is changing and not always for the better. I guess I am swimming upstream then. My standards/values are not moved by that current. I still love a happy ending. I still like the good guy to win. I appreciate the price it takes to take the high road.

Very very interesting vid. First of all, I am not sure that Bree and Jonas actually had sex, if they did, and Sarah for sure knew they did I'm sure we'd have more evidence. Sarah certainly has some attachment and emotional intamacy issues. prediction, she's going to do something to hurt our D-bone, but then realize she does love him and come back to him. Also her father will be making an apparence soon, maybe at a Hoo event. She does have a point with Jonas, he needs to stop being all emotional and get his head into the game. Though Daniel needs to learn their's a time for work and a time for play, and to keep the play to a minimuim while he's looking for Bree. The order has her now, so they should start checking out the order haunts. And asking themselves, why hasn't the order done the ceremony yet, and how much time do they have left?

My dictionary reads Slut: dirty slovenly woman. an immoral dissolute woman

However the wikipedia describes Skank as: a slang and a pejorative term used in the Western World to describe a person, usually female, who is either sexually promiscuous in a tasteless manner or behaves in a way which others perceive to be such. [1][2] The term "Skank" differs from that of "Slut" in that whereas the latter implies only sexual promiscuity, the former also implies poor taste, personally degrading behaviour and low socioeconomic class. Also used as slang for lower class female that is dirty or not presenting herself well.

Just to be clear. I do not like Sarah's character because she is promoting sexual promiscuity as if it is just a pleasure seeking rite. No value is placed on emotional or social or any other consequences of free love. In fact she denies it as her character is in denial about her own pain in regards to her parents. I see this is a symptom of a broken person protectign herself and avoiding her own pain rather than a judgement of her as a person in the end.
