Reading between the lines
In "Everybody does it" you views on sex and love are obviously shattered, by no fault of your own. You are obviously still hearting deeper than you would like to show about your dad leaving. While a lot of people just heard your SEX IS FUN! message, what I got (after watching it a second time) was that you have abandoned the idea of love existing or that any good can come from love. You tell yourself that love is bad and disconnect it from sex because it is an easy, quick, (and if done the right way) commitment free way of feeling love or loved without having to worry about being hurt or hurting someone else. I hope that you will realize that sex isn't just sex, but so much more. Anyone that cheapens sex to just a fling or one time deal is living a sad life, and probably has an emptiness inside. Sarah, you aren't the only one that has ever been depressed. You can and will get thorough it.
