Cheap vodka can definintely taste like rubbing alcohol-Absolut for example. I like a nice martini, but sometimes gin has an aftertaste like I just licked a Christmas tree. Not exactly bad, per se, just odd.

How 'bout beer? I'll take a Magic Hat #9, and some ribs anyday.

And my husband makes the best "screw-you-up-quick" wine around. With no nasty wine-head in the morning 8)

Burnett's is cheap, but not bad. It's triple-distilled so it ends up tasting pretty good... to me, anyway.
