Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce

Post by LesterG »

Song of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce
Alana-The first adventure The first book
In the hands of the goddess
The woman who rides like a man
Lioness Rampant

The Immortals
Wild Magic
Wolf Speaker
Emperor Mage
The Realm of the Gods

and there's a 3rd series

all series are easy to read, a children's book rating of like 12+ years old... Alana (the heroine of the first series) is mentioned in the 2nd series I know of... so it keeps to the world :)

Love Tamora Pierce! The third Tortall series would be "Trickster's Choice" and "Trickster's Queen". She also has the Circle of Magic world going on.

No, the Kel series is still part of the Tortall world. Circle of Magic focuses on four young mages in a different world. They're also very good.

(Oh, and the titles are First Test, Page, Squire and Lady Knight)

haha, yep. And they get better because you recognize the characters from previous stories and it's fun to see where they turn up. Also, she just published a new book (dog something or other) so there is more than enough reading material.

I love those books! Especially the ones about Kel. :D
That was the weirdest display of geekdom that I have ever seen in my entire life.

Awesome books!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite are the Immortals series. Highly recommend them. I first read them in fifth grade -- every time I entered the library I made a beeline to the Tamora Pierce books lol
We all have a Danielbeast inside of us.
