Actually, I really liked this video too (Yeah, I know, I was being a non-plot vid basher last thread)...
But you all know I'm not normally like that, I just.... get antsy sometimes. I actually did like the last vid too... it's just sometimes the tension inside bubbles over and I just want answers, action, and adventure!
But this vid was clever, cute, and generally entertaining... and yes, very nostalgic!
Oh well, I guess I reserve the right to completely change my mind/mood from day to day

So I check my email from my phone while I am at home to see if I have a new video to watch when I get to work in the morning. When I got up this morning and saw, "My Mom is a Freak!" I was totally flipping out thinking that Bree made a video to send to JDST. Then on my way to work I thought about the possibility that the vid might be from Taylor and lost every bit of enthusiasm that I had in my body.
The only thing that saved me from complete disapointment and depression was the fact that the vid was cute. I liked the trolls. Taylor is quite talented with a computer, now isn't she?
I felt really bad for Jonas when Taylor threw the stuffed thing at him and he woke up thinking it was Bree. Okay now I am sad again, I think I have said enough.

I'm not sure if it's anything, but that whole bit seemed to say "Pay attention! You're going to need this later"Sam fan wrote:I was wondering about that, too.HisGirl wrote:are we assuming the bit about taylor's mom bringing home a young man and her dad seeing a college girl is just filler? not a sort of foreshadowing or clue?
At the least we get a glimpse of what catalyzed Sarah's "down on love" stance
.... course, I've felt that feeling on LG before and so far it has shown up to be fruitless nearly every single time

a big WHOOT for Onewen... an actual real-life superhero!

Agreed... especially since it catalyzed a major element in the characterization of Sarah's and she seems to be a main character.HisGirl wrote: I'm not sure if it's anything, but that whole bit seemed to say "Pay attention! You're going to need this later"
Amen. Lots of details and apparent clues have passed by the wayside as the plot progesses along and it's like "say whah?... zodiac of denderah you said...eh?"HisGirl wrote: .... course, I've felt that feeling on LG before and so far it has shown up to be fruitless nearly every single time

Is it just me, or does it kind of look like Jonas went all the way to Texas to get a haircut?
Also, he is workin' that "aw, shucks" grin when he teases Taylor about her mom or hating her or something.
I have to say, I have been a little anti the filler vids lately, but I think the Creators are just trying to give us a little bit of the old-style vids before moving on. All of them lately (well, those featuring DJST for the last week or two) have been kind of old-style--in the bedroom, Bree one-on-one, the picnic was just like going swimming and hiking. I like 'em.
I suggested in the Plot forum to e-mail Spencer about the notebook, and see if he would be willing to tell us exactly what they're talking about (I know we have something about ::dum, dum, dum:: rybozymes, but there's more). IDK, he hasn't responded to any of my other messages yet, so we shall see.
