Daniel Returns, and More Interesting Factoids (Yay!)[7/7/06]
Anyone notice the Tintin reference in this episode? (Professor Calculus)
Tintin: http://tintin.francetv.fr/uk/
Professor Calculus: http://www.tintinmilou.free.fr/tournesol/indexuk.htm
EDIT:
I grew up reading Tintin comics. They're great. Unfortunately, they're not very popular in the US. I highly recommend them even as an adult.

Tintin! I LOVED these when I was a kid. Our library had some of them.
I was just rewatching this episode, and noticed something funny. I preface this with: science isn't my strong point, and I do have my stupid blank-out-on-completely-obvious-things, but... I didn't think the sun orbited anything?
Bree pops in to talk about an anecdote in "A Brief History of Time", the one about the world being a dinner plate on the back of a turtle. I was about to remark to Blackburne that it was an interesting anecdote, considering everything, because "it's turtles all the way down." I was smirking... is it lies all the way down?
But in the midst of rewinding it so I could correctly relay the story, I caught something odd. Bree says:
Basically there is this scientist, and he's giving a lecture. And he's telling everyone how the earth orbits the sun, and then the sun orbits a big group of stars, called a galaxy...
in the midst of telling the story. Did she just misspeak, am I stupidly forgetting some very well known thing about the sun orbiting something else (my sleep has been screwy the last few days, so I wouldn't be surprised ), is this a clue, and where is Professor Calculus?
Anyway. Talk amongst yourselves?

is this all that has been discussed about this video? or is it elsewhere?
first of all, she is drawing our attention to the walls, by putting up the poster and such. then we see the crowley picture. draw our attention to it.
there is also a story about working together (ants story) and doing experiments not research (feynmen story) emphesis on "rather than look it up"
she points her dirty feet at the camera like on purpose.
the candles on the shrine arent lit, but in the other video where she freaks out on daniel for lighting candles they are black.
los angeles and Central Park. is there something in Central park we should be sniffing out?

Ok, I know this was probably discussed ad nauseum somewhere else, but I'm too lazy to look around for it.. The picture above the candles in "The Danielbeast" is different than the one here in "Daniel Returns...".
Anybody know what the original picture was of? Or at least can you direct me to where it was discussed?

the original pic was of Baphomet, which was replaced by Crowley's I believe.savingbree wrote:Ok, I know this was probably discussed ad nauseum somewhere else, but I'm too lazy to look around for it.. It was discussed so long ago it is probably buried but I have this image saved on my hard drive. It was thought it was this image or a variation of it...

It's true that many people said the picture was Baphomet, but this was never confirmed, and I don't think it was. The Lgpedia has a good discussion of it and thinks it was a family picture: http://www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/ind ... e=BaphometAbsynth wrote:the original pic was of Baphomet, which was replaced by Crowley's I believe.
I have tried in vain to find out what the picture was from the Creators. I even asked Mesh in the chat last month:
[22:22:31] milowent: Mesh, i know you probably won't answer this, but What was the picture on Bree's wall before Crowley?
....
[22:23:10] The Creators: Hmmmm. What's on your wall?
