I can't find that commercial anywhere. Anyone else having any luck? Looks like it's either fictional or a clue ?

THis is the book that SPencer references, BTW...not a terrible well known book, unless you're familiar with old school sci-fi novels.

I'm trying to find it on our bookshelf right now. I know my husband has it...we just have a BIG library of books, and he's an uber sci-fi geek.

I don't hate Spencer; in fact I like him, but it's kind of hard for me to take him seriously as a scientist. Couldn't there be just one person on this show who isn't young - as well as thin, white, and good-looking?

Oh well. All the girls think he's hot stuff. I guess that's what they're going for.

At the beginning he mentions a commercial. At the end he references the lead character in the book I mentioned. I recognized it right off.

Oh, and I don't know if this even matters. But the version of the book most available is the ACE books one from 1965. It's book #F-344.

In order to find a cover image, I googled Ace F344... and you know what I found?

References to genetics.

I doubt it's connected, but my eyes opened a bit.

i think that book might be in the vid "Back at Bree's" because i saw 2 important books
