What does each letter of APHID stand for?

Very nice. She says to find instruction within the message and only then will we be prepared. Her sanction (def:authoritive permission or approval that makes a course of action valid) is that we sleep. And then wake up only to find that we have tons more to work on

This may also be why she's hinting for people to go to sleep. That may be exactly what she'd like to do now, and she'd probably rather people aren't plugging away at it quite as much while she's not around to supervise.ixlr8 wrote:That makes me wonder how closely we're being watched.
I'd like an order of Denderah with a side of Hathor browns, please...
Why does that make me feel like a teenage girl having a party whose parents won't leave us alone so the making out can startbeavinator wrote:This may also be why she's hinting for people to go to sleep. Yes.
This reminds me of the steps to strategy. Depending on who you ask it varies but a pretty common way to verbalize it is:
Listen/Aim/Move/Claim
So it appears that she will be using a similar process...one with five steps and one that acronyms into APHID
Plan could be the next step...but I'm jumping way ahead there.

"Death, in the strict sense, cannot be defined, for whatever predicate we, the living, attribute to it necessarily belongs to Life. This means that Death, as a category, behaves in a manner indistinguishable from the Infinite, and from God."

So it's like scientific method... you know, hypothesize, experiment, observe, analyze, conclude?steavetheundead wrote:this is jumping WAY ahead... but could the D in APHID be decide?
Except hers starts with analyze...
Analyze, Predict, H(ypothesize... means the same as predict), Investigate, Decide...?
Something along those lines?

Yes, but a prediction is different than a hypothesis. You make a prediction, and you verbalize it in a hypothesis.flamencopirate wrote:So it's like scientific method... you know, hypothesize, experiment, observe, analyze, conclude?steavetheundead wrote:this is jumping WAY ahead... but could the D in APHID be decide?

I was thinking the same thing last night, but I only started looking at OpAphid a few days ago. I thought of the analyze thing, too, but I figured -- as a newbie -- I was thinking too simplistically.flamencopirate wrote:So it's like scientific method... you know, hypothesize, experiment, observe, analyze, conclude?steavetheundead wrote:this is jumping WAY ahead... but could the D in APHID be decide?

I think it's a fine idea as long as there aren't different clues for each letter in the anagram.
I'm sure there will be different clues. Finishing the acronym will be a major turning point. Don't rush or the story will go too quickly.cimaruta wrote:I was thinking the same thing last night, but I only started looking at OpAphid a few days ago.
