Seriously, creators, do we need that cliché?

Nerds are hot.

Anyways, I really don't find this to be a big deal at all. Wow, Spencer is dorky. Call the stereotyping police.

I mean, he's only going to be around with us a couple of months, right?

i think spencer is a fantastic character. i think he has the potential to be the best character we've had so far.

Why do i think this goofy, one-dimensional, nerd stereo-type is so great? because he is neither one-dimensional, nor stereotypical. He is going to break that stereotype by proving himself to be a multidimensional whole person. He's not just a nerd. He's a sweet guy. He misses his dad. He's not sure how he feels about his father's mistress. He has a sense of morality big enough that he feels compelled to do "the right thing". Give him a chance to be more than a stereotype.

i swear this isn't just because i think he's cute.

i do, however, think he's cute.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on this. I think Spencer is adorable! Heck, after seeing this latest video, I wish I had him for a boyfriend! I love his character and it's actually nice to have someone whose on another dork or nerdy level that some of the audience maybe on. You have to remember, alot of us watch SciFi and Fantasy based shows, so having a character like that I think is brilliant. And honestly, he's just too adorable!

I work with scientists and geeks on a daily basis. Trust me, Spencer is like Will Smith compared to the dorks I work with in the lab
