I wanna be canon!

So I will just do like Gemmers and say "community" over and over again and make stuff up about Bree's mother and I can be canon too. Gemmers adds nothing to LG15. The only thing about her is that shes hot! Lets face it, we started watching Bree because shes really cute.

I'm not saying I have anything to add. I'm making fun of people of people who want gemmers to be canon because she says "community" cryptically and is hot. If I were one of the beautiful people then others would want to make me canon if I said "the power".

And then there's the whole, you know, the actress lives in LA and had to have speech lessons and is friends with Jessica and Yousef and one of the creators and went to a party with them thing.

OK, let me state first I think since the actress behind Gemmers knows Jess that she is probably made by the Creators (a far less likely scenario is that she saw Jess's success and wanted to try it herself, but not likely.) However, methinks you are giving Gemmers a lot more credit than she really deserves. Is her video really indicitive of something you need to be a Hollywood-type to make? I actually find it quite dry. It's certainly not at all witty like early lonelygirl, nor is the actress all that engaging. She seems to draw a lot of people because she's hot (allegedly), but certainly not because she's all that interesting like what drew me to Bree.
Also you say she "had to have speech lessons"? So she could do THAT accent? Frankly it sucks, you can totally tell it's not natural for her. I have never had a lesson and believe I can do a better British accent, and if I actually had a speech coach than a much better one.
Maybe Gemmers will actually get better or interesting. But at the current moment I find it funny how you seem to write Paul & Andrea off as just a kid with a webcam while Gemmers is apparently Hollywood magic that could only be done by people in the business. In my opinion Paul & Andrea's video is more creative than Gemmers and while the camera resolution is obviously poorer in P&A I think the overall quality is better, especially considering it's just a kid in their room and not likely being done by the Creators with a budget.
Haha if the Creators are really behind Gemmers, which I believe they are, I sure hope they don't read this with me dissing their new toy, however I am just flabberghasted that someone is arguing that Gemmers is some sort of high-quality amazingness that could only be done by Hollywood people. If we didn't know the actress knew Jessica Rose I wouldn't her production would have any connection at all to the Creators.

Take a chill pill, soldier, I was merely talking in terms of production quality, not just a drastic chasm in production quality between Gemma's video and the typical fan videos, but the fact that her video's production quality is exactly the same as that of the official videos.

For the record, I think the Gemma videos are awesome, ot because she's hot, (she is hot.) but because they give us some backstory on the characters and will probably give us more.

That was the same problem we had when Bree said "the wet" and everyone who's, at bare minimum, seen an interview with Peter Jackson, immeadiatly thinks "Kiwi".

She doesn't sound British because she isn't trying to.

Not so fast tigerlily.
From Gemma's video I definitely got the picture she moved to the "big city" away from her little hick cult town. Not that she went literally around the world from her family to London.
I don't have to just rely on that though. Now that Bree has acknowledged Gemmers (why isn't there a *crying* emoticon?), she revealed that yes indeed, Gemmers was her friend in Nottinghamshire, which makes sense because that is where Bree only made the dog as friend. So Gemmers one would assume is British, as Bree met her there, etc. It'd make no sense for Gemma to be a friend from the NZ cult commune, and then followed her to England where Bree met her for the first time and befriended her dog. Gemma is a long time Brit.
Also, if that's a Kiwi accent which you seemed so convinced of, that still doesn't explain Gemma's constantly falling into what appears to be an American accent. Seriously, listen to them all the way through and I think you'll find quite a few examples of where she definitely sounds American for a word or two (I've actually made a list). It's especially apparently when she says any word ending in ly.
My conclusion? The Gemma actress "Jackie" is it, is a total American actress attempting to fake a British accent. And not succeeding.

I can't believe Gemma is canon. She came on the scene like such a f@@@ing poser. I hate Gemma! Daniel and Bree had a realness about them because they seemed ordinary and unremarkable (despite dorky charisma). Now theres Gemma who is eye candy with a bad accent who comes off as artificial as plastic molded falsies. I don't know if I can keep watching with her in the show.

I kinda like Gemma, but I don't like how she made her very own vlog and immediately just completely devoted it to Bree. That seems too unrealistic for me. She needs to talk about herself more. And have vlogs that arent all about Bree. I bet there's an interesting character behind the spooky white smile.
