A couple guys I know in the US Army who've been to Romania say that it might very well be a prime place to relocate for retirement. I'm a long way from retirement, but I've been thinking of checking out the former Warsaw Pact countries for a while; I lived in Germany for 4 years as a kid, and we never got to go into the East; my Dad had a security clearance that forbade him from even going to West Berlin. Plus, everyone who's been to Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, the Czech Republic say that the women are absolutely jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Which is another reason to go, especially now that I'm single.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

Kasdeja, I took the time of searching for your pic in the Rogue's Gallery and I think you're very cute. Nice smile.

My name is one I got as a toddler. When I was learning to speak, I had trouble with 'm's; they always came out as 'n's. (Incidentally I called the kitchen the 'kitchie roon,' and sometimes still do!) My mom often called me "Sunbeam," which I of course couldn't say. It came out "Sunbean" and it stuck. My mom would always ask me, "If I planted you, would the sun grow?"
