Having lived abroad (and having one parent who isn't American, and being a bit of a history buff), I wouldn't say the United States is boring. It's just interesting in different ways from other countries.Kasdeja wrote:America is so boring... Well, I've seen French ruins, but that's it.
I found you can't judge his writing on any one book. He writes in many subjects and many genres. I didn't like it or Pet Semetary. You just have to find his books that are more in your genre. I've read Holy Fire as well. Enjoyed it, but it's not quite on my "favorites" list.
