I'm 24. I don't wanna be in my mid-twenties.

My husband is 32, though, so I tease him a lot.

When he talks about what he did when he was 16, I remind him that I was 8 then. lol

lol, we met when i was 20 and he was almost 28, so it was all legal and stuff.

The Glass Bead Game is probably my favorite Hesse novel, btw.

I should've mentioned Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast books, as they're amazingly cool...

Great band!

I'm into 80's metal, because that's what I grew up on, but I like some of the new stuff too. Especially the local scene, or just-signed bands that haven't had their sound corrupted by the labels yet. I had a blast going to a local recording studio with my wife at 3am to watch one of my coworkers record, so she (my wife) could get some photos that the band could use for album art. Unfortunately, the band broke up before they were done.

But I do have a couple of his recordings as MP3s somewhere

It's really hard to list all the music I like. I'm not a fan of Rap, except maybe old school stuff and Beastie Boys. I don't really like R&B, except old school stuff like Ray Charles. I do like Gnarls Barkley, too. I'm a rock gal, though I'm not as into the heavy stuff like I used to be. I love Radiohead, Ween, Alice in Chains, Jane's Addiction...and I'm quite the hippie as well, loving my CSN&Y, Doors, Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, etc. I also love classical music. I have a love for Mozart, specifically.

Didn't help that I read the hardcover version, slept on a loft bed and would read it before going to sleep. Few things in my life have been more terrifying than a 1000+ page hardcover tome falling 7 feet and hitting the floor in the middle of the night.
