What happened to the days of names like John, Bob, Frank, Tom, Henry, etc? Everyone has these wild names, and it becomes an effort to one-up the last!

I like a lot of these names, and I think it'd be neat too, but it can get carried away. My cousin named one of his songs Chandler (after a TV show, for goodness sake!) and his newest son Maximus! Maximus! Yikes...

I always liked Aaron for a boy...

I'm a big fan of Tobias for a boy (shortened to Toby.)
And all of you who decided to start screaming "My name is Kunta Kinte" are not going to deter me.

I like names that start with an 'A' for girls. Audrey is my favorite. I like Alice a lot too.

For some reason, all of my new female friends since I've moved have A names.

Adelaide Mackenzie
I also like the name Idina, but I don't think I'd ever use it.

I haven't really put too much thought into boys' names....

I have a David Michael and a Ziola Marie.

And we are all done. But if Ziola had been a boy, she would have been Bastion James

Exactly like Idina Menzel (who I admire so much). But I'm not sure exactly where I stand on naming my kids after famous people.

i think i have issues. Idina Menzel is one of the only Broadway actress's/actors I dont highly look up to. weird.

I dont think i could name my child after someone horribly famous...except maybe Sylvia. after Sylvia Plath. Such an amazing tale.
