No big deal I am wrong a lot... as iamcool put it I didn't thinkitthrough , I hate it when I know I have seen something or heard somehting befor and I can't remember where, it will come to you when you are like 15 miles away from any computer to tell us what you remembered.Languorous Lass wrote:I just saw the screen-cap comparisons earlier in this thread and realized that I was wrong. I am absolutely sure that I've seen that adapted eye symbol somewhere before, but can't figure out where. It's driving me nuts.

Here is something interesting I found online:
Though the whole "sex with animals" thing is probably creeping P. Monkey out....
There's been a lot of talk about the possibility of Bree having a special blood line. Perhaps she's from Noah's bloodline? The Book of Enoch names these angels Watchers, or in Hebrew Zophim (S6822 (BDB); Cf. Num 23:14) We are told quite explicitly what the Watchers got up to. It is perhaps becoming clear now why mankind had become so wicked (Gen 6:5); he had become corrupted by the Watchers. 1 Enoch tells us that they did not only have sex with men (and animals as well...God wants to destroy the animals too -- Gen 6:7), but they taught occult and wicked practices to mankind. Not only this but there was now considerable risk that the Messiah's bloodline could become genetically corrupt from intermarriage with Nephilim. It appears that only Noah's family remained physically, soulically and spiritually clean (Gen 6:8-9). This is basically the message given in Jubilees:

I had a chat with Nikki about the eye and she said that she honestly doesn't know what the significance is.
I'm inclined to believe that her vids are "fan fic" but have been absorbed into the story. Seems like little bits of everything we post (vid and written) is being absorbed into the story.

It's ALL connected...

LOL. I guess technically, by the Bible that would be true.zzfoxfirezz wrote:Everyone is from Noah's bloodline!silvermoon wrote: There's been a lot of talk about the possibility of Bree having a special blood line. Perhaps she's from Noah's bloodline?

Something that ties Egypt in with Watchers. Interestingly, the Watchers have the ability to appear as animals. Maybe it's not Daniel that is bad. Maybe it's OWEN!During the fabled "First Time, Zep Tepi, when the gods ruled in their country: they said it was a golden age during which the waters of the abyss receded, the primordial darkness was banished, and humanity, emerging into the light, was offered the gifts of civilization. They spoke also of intermediaries between gods and men - the Urshu, a category of lesser divinities whose title meant 'the Watchers'. And they preserved particularly vivid recollections of the gods themselves, puissant and beautiful beings called the Neteru who lived on earth with humankind and exercised their sovereignty from Heliopolis and other sanctuaries up and down the Nile. Some of these Neteru were male and some female but all possessed a range of supernatural powers which included the ability to appear, at will, as men or women, or as animals, birds, reptiles, trees or plants. Paradoxically, their words and deeds seem to have reflected human passions and preoccupations. Likewise, although they were portrayed as stronger and more intelligent than humans, it was believed that they could grow sick - or even die, or be killed - under certain circumstance."

More on these same Watchers:
Kisdeja? Kasdeja? Plant?

Hmmmm, is this where Bree learned about Latitude and Longitude and about the stars?"Other Watchers stand accused of revealing to mortal kind the knowledge of more scientific arts, such as the knowledge of the clouds, or meteorology; the 'signs of the earth', presumably geodesy and geography; as well as astronomy and the 'signs', or passage, of the celestial bodies, such as the sun and moon. Far more disturbing is Kisdeja, who is said to have shown 'the children of men all the wicked smitings of spirits and demons, and the smitings of the embryo in the womb, that it may pass away'. In other words, he taught women how to abort their babies."

Because Gemma used P. Monkey's name to register to view the ancient texts at the library, and obviously Gemma is afraid that someone might check the register to see who's looked at these texts. I other words, she is paranoid.Luv2Skydive wrote:Why would the library come after p.monkey? Did Gemma steal the book???iamcool wrote:but wow ahe really hates p.monkey

But have we discussed the fact that maybe the order wants them to move for some reason? If Gemma is a part of the order, and they want Bree and Daniel to move from where they are, this would be a perfect way to scare them into doing it.
