Seriously, the "stereotyping" of the British really isn't that bad. Gemma eats chips and goes to the pub for dinner. What student doesn't? I know I do

Pubs are more often than not, nice places to go for meals, especially the chain pubs in central london which are very tourist friendly. Eg, Wetherspoons, even smaller pubs in London would probably offer food just to get the tourists in!

I think Gemma might just be paranoid. Seeing a suited man in a central London pub really isn't anything out of the ordinary!

As far as plot goes, I think everyone should SUSPEND THEIR DISBELIEF and accept that as far as the story goes, GEMMA IS IN LONDON! This thread was really irritating to read!

But...of course...

the actress that plays Gemma is NOT in london.

Scenes are created or they use certain backgrounds that would look like she is somewhere..maybe that is why we don't see outside of Gemma's windows or any other angle from this recent video.

Where she is--is a SET. Its not London.

The Creators don't have enough funds to transport someone to London just to film a few videos.

no coz there isnt a uni near big ben i dnt think

and shes not necceserily in the centre of london, its like saying shes from l.a so put a hill with hollywood on it outside her window

I agree. In fact, I think I'm going to save this message, and insert it (with full credit to you, of course, nobackspace) whenever the incessant "she's not really Brit/that's not really London" yammering starts up again. You've said everything that needs to be said, in the clearest possible way.
