:?

Have I mentioned that I hate math and that I'm NO GOOD at this code stuff?
Super Boy is a comic book, and story number 54 is: 54 (January 1957) The Sixth Clark Kent....where a character called "Hex" is turned from a man to a woman. Maybe we need to look at pages 34-36 of this comic?

The Sixth Clark Kent (1957). Writer: ?. When a millionaire leaves his money to "Clark Kent" in gratitude for having saved his life, lawyers and Superboy find various people named Clark Kent from all over the country. This is one of the sweetest and most appealing early Superboy stories. It is unusual in that it has almost no science fiction elements. Instead, its manages to evoke a whole world of 1930's American life. The writers have tried to make the various "Clark Kents as different from each other as possible. The story has the "series of episodes" construction familiar in the Superboy family, with the discovery of each Clark Kent forming a separate episode. The story has the mystery aspect also often present in the Superman family, with Superboy having to do detective work to track down the various Clark Kents, and to determine if they could be the Clark who once saved the millionaire's life.

The Superman family always tried to present as many different features of modern life as possible. They did not seem to be oriented to just one type of character, unlike so much modern entertainment. Instead, they tried to take a broad look at different kinds of people. The writers always seemed to be on the lookout for anybody whose interesting life could add some color and complexity to their plots."

Looks like the leet speak hasn't been decoded yet so here it is:

d3c0d3 4 k3y / c0d3d 1n70 l337 5p34k 17 3qu4l5 'T'
=
Decode a key / coded into leet speak it equals 'T'
We improve with time. Like a fine wine, really.

Here's the trailer for Johnny Mneumonic. Can you take a look at it and see if fits with T's response? My brain is fried.

Doesnt that mean that the shes telling us the equivalent of the letter T in leet speak, which is 7, is some sort of key?

Looking at the original hex code from the post, the two font tags of 000000 occur in between some of the sets, which break it down like this:

cassandra hughes
poly[amorous] sub[missive]? [u wish!]
u may b [roughly] 32186 kilometers away butt eye can c ya
turn it out go _ 36 34
SuperBoy fitty fo'

running them through a straight decoder doesn't add the return, because 000000 is a null value.

just a thought that these are seperate things.

In leet speak, 'T' is usually replaced by '7', but it can also be replaced by '+' or '*I*'

In leet speak, 'T' is usually replaced by '7', but it can also be replaced by '+' or '*I*'
however shes using the numeric leet in her clue, so it probably is 7.

I can't get it out of my head that the 90s movie is probably Johnny Mnemonic. There's a famous line from the trailer/movie that would fit the quote from the Craigslist:

Ask me how I do it, that's totally my answer!
"I can carry nearly eighty gigs of data in my head."

It would make sense, too, as a puzzle, since a mnemonic is "a device, such as a formula or rhyme, used as an aid in remembering." It would be a hint that we're supposed to be looking for a mnemonic, or something we've seen is one.

Okay I know this thread is getting really confusing. I want everyone to be able to know were we are at :D .There is so much from this latest profile change to work on:

What we DON'T KNOW:

1.. Why the color code/hex file that says:
cassandra hughes
poly[amorous] sub[missive]? [u wish!]
u may b [roughly] 32186 kilometers away butt eye can c ya
turn it out go _ 36 34
SuperBoy fitty fo'

Things WE DO KNOW:
1. The quote on T's profile is from the movie "Better Off Dead" that has a character named Stalin in it and also has John Cusak in it.

2. Shifty has decryped the Leet Key.

3. We are all confused, tired, and crabby but are still doing a GREAT job working as a TEAM :) Remember, if you can't get into the chat but want to send us some info/data, email me at fallingintosin@gmail.com

4. 1. The Rar File: (We know that this a file that has was encrypted several times and then we were finally able to open it, the info inside was also encrypted (the encrypted info can be found here: http://www.acidfingers.com/hosted/unkno ... 12-01.txt ). Also Op has told us that this is NOT a JPG file or any kind of photo.

Update 11:04 am: We have broken the encryption thanks to a new member Mike879. It was encrypted in hex and backwards. Blueshoe is working on transcribing the information has been posted by Sphinx (thanks!!).

5. The movie is "Chain Reaction" and there is a location of a Chain Reaction in Anaham, Ca.
