ok - on the line of the page:
Oct1199 LD188A 02:08 {0001} 288 555 0101
this was at 1:55:24 in the movie.
I tried the number - not in service.

you probably already know this. but this quote i'm pretty sure is from Three O'Clock high
2. No better way to start the day than gossiping about new students.
i found this on the three o'clock high wikipedia
Upon Jerry's arrival to school that morning, he constantly overhears ongoing rumors regarding a tough new student by the name Buddy Revell.
Hope this helps

I just watched the scene from The Game.
scene starts at about 1 hour 21 minutes (there was a few previews of the tape i watched so it is less than that im sure, maybe 1 h 10 m)
this part of the dialouge is in that scene:
detective: Have you gotten in touch with your brother?
michael douglas: He hasn't called back.
ETA: no clocks
the scene before they mention the 14th floor, back to watch it all over again
other than that nothing very visual as far as the scene goes, he just sits on a couch with his lawyer, and two detectives stand there talking to them.

The Breakfast Club.
Some people seem to think I am wrong on this, but I think the
"Those damn cults" quote seems to fit with this movie.
This movie is based around "cults".
An Athlete
A Princess
A Brain
A Basket Case
A Criminal
I think there is a message in all of these characters, as a whole.
You can take something from each one of them.
The Athlete feels he has to impress his parents by winning, feels like he cant let them down. He has to be the best at what he does.
The Princess, she has to live up to certain standards that her friends and family have for her. She feels pressured by her friends to do things she doesn't necessarily want to. Her parents use her to get back at eachother.
The Brain, feels like he cant fail. His parents pressure him to get straight A's. They "wont accept" a failing son.
The Basket case, reminds me so much of Tachy. She has this purse that she keeps stuff in. At one point dumps it out on the couch and when the others ask why she has so much stuff, she says "You never know when you may have to jam" and her home life is "unsatisfying". Her parents just ignore her.
The Criminal, he also has a rough home life. His parents dont really care about him. Put a burn in his arm after he spilled paint in the garage. Gave him a carton of cigarettes for Xmas. He rebels against
everyone. He is kind of his own person.
I think this movie is sending a message about their different "cults"
and their "Home Lives".
This seems to apply to Tach...her "home"was unsatisfying and her "parents" didn't treat her very well. I dunno, let me know what you guys think.
The "punching table" quote doesn't fit. No one in this movie punches tables or talks about punching tables.
I may add to this later, if I think of anything else.

Do he be caucasian?!
Fall, can you please update the post with the corresponding letters for these? They're n and y, instead of that 1. and 2. which is confusing as there are a 1. and 2. movies. Thanks!FallingIntoSin wrote:Okay, in attempted to get organized:

unless I missed the post about Cruel Intentions, I'm assuming that the scene is the one where Cecile sneaks over to Sebastian's place, he gets her drunk and uses her, because Catherine says that everyone sleeps around, no one talks about it. Essentially the scene is about manipulation on different levels. Cecile is manipulated by Catherine about the "secret society" (another possible lead?), and by Sebastian because he threatens to call her mother because he knows that she is grounded.
I may be slightly off about the scene, but the main points I think are manipulation, blackmail, and "secret society"
