if you got tossed in the infirmary until they could transfer you to another facility, you'd punch a door too... until you figured out a way to escape.
Wargames is such a great movie -- that is the scene where Matthew Broderick's character gets locked into a waiting room at the infirmary at NORAD and he jerryrigs his escape by using a tape recorder to record the keypad sequence. Hopefully someone figures out the time of that scene!
