Ok, so I decided to check out the location of the meeting (not in person unfortunately). I found out that it's a park for children as far as I know. Google is actually quite usefull. Also with the google-maps or google-earth part. just put in the adress and voila.
"14201 Huston St, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423"
To lazy to make a picture but see for yourself.
switch to satelite view to see satelite images. Nothing blue though appart from what seems to be a swimming pool.

How are you going to look underneath a pool? Not a bad suggestion, though.cobracommander5 wrote:bluestone... POOL!! (eh, i bet im wrong but whatever..)
I'd make you swear on a bible, but I know how contact with holy stuff makes your skin sizzle.

I am so mixed about all this right now. I don't like the fact they are going from video series to combining real life, in THIS form. Too freaky!Gidget wrote:Sorry for things I said on this thread last night. I was sure it was a gamejack and I was concerned for others safty.
Creators- while I think that this is a cool idea it borders on scary/wrong for two reasons"
1) taking the online world offline involving anything with a cult raises my suspicions big time. I trust you guys, but still. With all the dangers of the internet with kids being kidnapped of myspace and stuff its not sending a very good message. Especially introduced in the manor you did it.
2) Obviously with fans around the world it is impossible for us all to go, and I am so wrapped up in this story that I think it really sucks I can't be involved. Its not an equal playing field.
On a different note, I bet they'll shoot a live scene with Daniel and Jonas coming to the rescue. It'll be really cool.
I prefer S.A.R.A.H. or SARAH.
Always have...even before our friend Sarah entered the picture. And, I love her, but Beastie belongs to someone else! Please don't touch P. Monkey!

I understand completely. In any case, I live in the SF Bay Area (which is what I put in the audition, so I'm a little surprised with the email I received) and I obviously am not going to trek 6 hours down the coastlineToad wrote:I take back some of what I said then.ascend wrote:I didn't lie and I'm 17...Samara wrote:If they did, then they probably lied about their age or location on the audition form. That's my guess, anyway.there seem to be a few minors on here saying they got email invitations.
I do have reservations about this though if the age grouping was 13-17 or something similar.
Please be safe all and let your parents in on your plans at the very least or better yet bring them.
This whole thing is making me nervous.

Your kidding me right? The great thing about this medium is its interactivity with real life. Isn't this kind of thing what we all want, more fan based interaction? More cool puzzles/activites for us?SARAHPHOBIA88 wrote:

Things have gotten kinda slow since Op, (with the exception of Maddy and Adam) It's kinda cool to have something to be excited about again...even if I can't go.
Well, I'm sure there are plenty of people who will show up. I think there are quite a few LA area posters here.
But in the middle of a weekday? Did they actually expect people to be able to show up? I mean, sure...I can waste my time at work while here on the boards, but my butt actually needs to be in my chair. I couldn't just take a few hours or even th whole day off for something like this this.
Well, I probably could...but I wouldn't know how to explain it.

That would be kind of a tough one, I know my boss wouldn;t really go for the whole "Going to California to kind of but not really join a cult" thing.Samara wrote:I couldn't just take a few hours or even the whole day off for something like this.

Bad for store morale and all.

I agree. This is really weird, and kind of unfair to us East Coasters. I would give anything to meet TAAG!Gidget wrote:Sorry for things I said on this thread last night. I was sure it was a gamejack and I was concerned for others safty.

Will the people attending be in character, or will the creators etc. be there saying things like "Glad you could join us, you are extras on an LG15 segment yadda yadda"?
I wonder that, too. But I mentioned earlier, it seems those that DID get the invite are ARE attending aren't talking. There must be something more to it than that beyond the RSVP that HoO asked for.

I question many things. And maybe it is because I don't think it is fair that out of 11,000 plus LG15 fans, the choose only 35? And because I live 6 hours away by plane, and would never make it by foot.GregGallows wrote:Your kidding me right? The great thing about this medium is its interactivity with real life. I just hope it is all recorded, whether IG or OOG.

Am I the only one that feels really confused about this whole thing? Did anyone who actually got the email decide to talk about it? Or are they all loyal Hymn Of One members now? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
And how the hell did this end up on Craigslist?
