I think everyone's very confused and upset or excited right now. Give it a few days, and when things calm down, I suspect the coversations in the various areas will be a little more focused.

I think it's safe to say that you can participate in OpAphid as much or as little as you choose. I hope that if there are hints or clues that might help those not participating (as the creators said, they won't be necessary but might expand the understanding of Bree's world), they'll be explained in the relevant areas in the rest of the board.

If so, I'm out. If it had played out differently off the cusp of CiW that OpAphid was more than annoying vids with complicated puzzles that appeared to be mimicing Ciw, I may have followed OpAphid. As it is, I don't wish to and I certainly hope I can at least enjoy the LG15 area without having it forced upon me, as noted by creatatrons. However, I can see this becoming further muddled...and in the OpAhid area it's all complete nonsense and bickering. So, yeah, that helps me a lot. So, anyway...hopefully it will stay respectfully separated enough where those who wish to play can, and those who do not don't have to.

Well that's what the creators have said - you dont need to pay any attention to OpAphid. Personally I like a challenge cos I'm a hard core MoFo, but I wont be making any phone calls to the US, so maybe I'll be at a disavantage.
Yes, I do play croquet with the queen actually. We all do here.

That's honestly what turned me off of ARG during CiW (before the tacky SL ploy). If you don't live in California, no neat stuff for you. You get a puzzle. Woot. Puzzle. Yay.

The creators said in the general discussion forum that it is not required to watch Op Aphid or participate in the ARG to fully enjoy LG15.

So for the people who think of leaving just because of Op Aphid, I strongly suggest you don't.

Yeah, kind of bummed out that OpAphid is now cannon(mostly because I didn't think it would be). But since I don't have to follow that one if I so choose to, I will still watch LG15. 8) Still pretty interesting though how Bree's past videos are starting to tie in more with where the Creators are going with this.

I, for one, will only watch LG15 vids if I even do that anymore. I am way too busy to add something else into the mix. I'm disappointed overall but there are a lot of people who are thrilled so good for you. I'll think I'll switch over to Sam Has 7 Friends now.......
LG15 needs more COWBELL!

It's probably best not to join in the OpAphid watching, seems we 'noobs' are very unwelcome.

Really? Not cool. Hehe oh well, not like I'm probably going to. At most I'll lurk in there, but that's about it.

Yep. I decided to take a look at the OpAphid section and it was made very clear. I love how some of us are considered noobs, now, too. I think this was a bad call. They just should have started a new one that didn't yet have a following.

Its probably because they did so much work and have so much invested that they sort of became a clique and don't want us to infiltrate. No biggy. I'm happy to sit back and let them sweat over all the clues and puzzles. I'll sit back and be entertained and benefit from their hard work.

Sorry, but many of us were in the same boat once...in this very forum...and we didn't get like that. It's very disrespectful. Most of us 'noobs' have been here since day one.
