we ever seen a girl watcher?
Weird...
But, if that were true, Daniel wouldn't be a convential watcher. He doesn't report back to the Order (at least we think he doesn't
). But he can be manipulated if need be.
Bree said that she met Daniel because he came up to her told her to join his table. Connection?
But if it hadn't been for Daniel, she would probably have just done the ceremony in the first place, and only then realized that it was a mistake. And before the fake ceremony, Bree's parents mistrusted him.
I'm going to say this isn't true, but you have me thinking.

a couple of decent "what if's"
what if:
Daniel was intended to bring Bree to the proper stage of life (emotional and mental maturity?) so she'd be fit for the ceremony?
Doesn't check in with the Order? .....what do you call all his blogs?
but this doesn't have to be intentional; could be mainly his parents "hey, if you ever see a girl alone during lunch, make friends with them; that's what good boys do" "hey, i heard lotsa kids to video journals; ditch the myspace, take this camera, and go to youtube!"
etc

The Manchurian Candidate? Here is a link to the plot summary
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Manchurian_Candidate (I know they made a remake a while back but I never saw that one. The original is one of my all time favorite movies).
I think OP has brainwashed Daniel in a way that Daniel isn't even conscious of. She's going to use him later and is just biding her time. Daniel is now a Sleeper Agent for the order and he doesn't even know it.
I like it. I thought this may have even happened
before Daniel went to Jonas' house.
See Here It would explain why "Cowboy" was able to lead him away so easily. Something triggers Daniel to go into "state".
Plus, it could lead to some dramatic plot developments down the road.
What's the trigger?

You know, Tayduh, you could very well be right.
That might be why the latest vid makes such a big deal out of Daniel's recovering-alcoholic parents.

Ugh, I'm totally pissed they went along the "Whine Whine, I don't remember anything the Order did to me, but guess what, my parents are alcoholics? Bitch Bitch Moan Moan Whine."
I wanted him to TELL US SOMETHINGGGGGGGG.
Argh. I just want some answers. Is that so much to ask?

Maybe you just need to dig a little deeper into what DB is REALLY saying

its definately a possibility...we haven't seen daniel drunk before he went back home...
they got him drunk the first time (with Katherine McPhee) and that was the initiation of it all.
then when he went back to the bowling alley to drink again they SLAMMED him into his place

No, she sees something that she has told us: that alcohol is the trigger for Daniel's hypnotic/controllable state. That could very well be the reason for the focus on alcohol in this latest vid. It could set up some tension: will Daniel drink or not? If he's trying not to because he doesn't want to follow in his parents' footsteps, then, for purposes of the plot, he won't get randomly triggered. Only when he's seriously stressed or something goes way wrong (or way right -- like he genuinely hooks up with Bree) will he pick up a drink -- and Oppy will take over.

Okay, but first of all, I don't see that as very likely. Second of all, that doesn't answer any questions for me regarding the Order.
Alcohol messes with you. Everyone knows it.
I still think he was under the influence of something much stronger than alcohol. Unless his soda had rum in it, he probably wasn't drunk for like a week straight.
PS - I meant that I was hoping he would tell us what he learned while he was with the Order. What he heard and saw. Etc. None of that is related to his alcoholism.

I don't think she's trying to say Daniel was drunk for a week. Rather, he's under Oppy's influence (mind control, brainwashing, hypnosis - whatever) and similar to The Manchurian Candidate, something triggers his behavior - possibly the alchohol.
Now his memory is wiped clean - so we may never know what went on.

most triggers for hypnosis (intentional triggers that is) are words, or a word. Some unintentional ones could be smells, or a certain situation (i guess they could use a smell as a trigger though).
They couldn't make it a drink. Your mind would have to be trained to use that trigger. So it couldn't be the smell of alcohol, which would be far to dangerous considering his parents were alcoholics, and then it'd have to be a certain alcohol since most have a distinct smell.
The WHOLE problem behind him being hypnotized is, hypnotism is NOT what you see in the movies and such. I've been hypnotized several times. The point being hypnosis is not a way to control someone. You wont do anything under hypnosis you don't want to do. And the only time you don't remember what happened while under hypnosis, is under deep deep hypnosis. Or if you choose not to remember it.
So unless the creators know nothing of hypnosis, and are going along with hollywood's version of it, this isn't likely.
