Well, I'm in the wake of a pretty bad day...
So yesterday, I found out that I got rejected by one of the universities I wanted to go to. I was handling it pretty well, I was disappointed yes, but I was dealing with it.
So, to cheer me up, my parents take me out to dinner. We went to Red Robin. And I'm a picky eater so I like my burgers plain with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and bacon done medium-well. When it came, it had everything on it. I sent it back. A new one came and it was right. I am still ok at this point.
Also, I should note that I was wearing one of my favorited velvet jackets at dinner.
Then, the waiter brings my dad a new Diet Coke, only he slips and spills it...all over me. It gets on my jacket (I don't know if it will come out, we're talking about $100 Penguin velvet jacket), my pants (I looked like I drank about 5 gallons of water then pissed it all out on myself), and I'm sticky in all the wrong places.
That's when I lost it. I couldn't hold in my anger, disappointment, frustration, or any other emotion that was coarsing through my veins.
Lets just say, I haven't quite gotten over that ordeal. In fact, I'm trying to find a way to get completely wasted tonight.
