Here's a picture of the same jeans in the cookie monster video. In today's video, it shows the object to be much less than the width of the white frayed area. So if you go by this picture, whatever is in his pocket is really very much smaller than the impression we get from it in today's video.

i think it narrows at the end toward the camera, and it could be a flask with the nozzle away from the camera

I don't think it's going to be posted on Daniel's TY at all. I doubt he wants Bree to know that he followed her and the woman and get angry about it. The creators know that most people following this story will look at all the websites connected and eventually find the video, so it doesn't HAVE to be posted on YouTube for everyone to see it.

Edit: Juuuuuuust kidding, they defintely posted it like 5 minutes after I posted this.

Whatever's in Daniel's pocket is not soft and conformal, like a book. Try it yourself and see! It could be a wallet, bent one way from being carried around in a back pocket and then stuck in the front pocket the "wrong" way. I carry my wallet in my front pocket. It would be very uncomfortable stuck in the "wrong" way. Similarly, a flask would be very uncomfortable stuck in the "wrong" way. Why wouldn't he stick it in the obvious way?

So I'm voting against it being a book, and probably against it being a wallet.

Wow, we are definitely a clue-obsessed group, aren't we?

I know we are trained now to think anything's a clue, and it's highly possible the thing in his pocket will turn into something, but for now, I can't imagine we can figure out what it is, and it probably doesn't relate ... yet (but might soon, if it's binoculars as someone suggested).

I think we're getting offtrack from the discussion of the important things the video shows:
- Bree's house and bedroom (presumably)
- The woman, who we agree seems to be too old to be Cassie (Bree's mom, but why would she ring the bell? Someone from the church)
- Practice for the ceremony (presumably) - what are they doing?
- What happens to Daniel at the end?

And maybe some other things I'm forgetting.

Daniel is worried about Bree and he's filming things cause he KNOWS something is rotten in the state of Denmark. He wants to make sure that nothing bad will happen to her.. So...I see nothing wrong with his actions.. Now I am sure the law would...but... I'd say to a Degree Daniel has the moral high ground just with shaky footing.. his intentions are TRULY for the best for Bree(albeit colored with a lot of Daniel) but I think he wants to make sure she's not hurt.

I agree. Maybe he was just going to her house to talk to her, and when he parked, he saw the other person show up. He didn't know her, and he already is edgy with things with Bree and her church, so he followed out of curiosity. Nothing most of us wouldn't do...

I think it sets him up to be the hero, actually...to save her.

i´ve always thought that the cermony would be outside.
and in WIcca religion, befor each cermony, the one who is going to lead the cermony is greeting the weathersighns.
i think thats whats bree is doing.
and also. in many wocca covens you are naken, or mayby it was a hot day.

i dnt know if someone already wrote this theories but it´s a thought

Anyone care to disagree:

Daniel went to see bree, but couldn't. He wasn't stalking just wanted to talk, and was curious who this woman was when bree has been a shut-in for most of her life.
