Thanks - lines up pretty much dead-on with the stem of the chalice - but so what? Maybe it is from the real chalice. By the way - this may have already been mentioned but:
Let him look upon the cup whose blood is mingled therein, for the wine of the cup is the blood of the saints. Glory unto the Scarlet Woman, Babalon the Mother of Abominations, that rideth upon the Beast, for she hath spilt their blood in every corner of the earth and lo! she hath mingled it in the cup of her whoredom.
With the breath of her kisses hath she fermented it, and it hath become the wine of the Sacrament, the wine of the Sabbath; and in the Holy Assembly hath she poured it out for her worshipers, and they had become drunken thereon, so that face to face they beheld my Father. Thus are they made worthy to become partakers of the Mystery of this holy vessel, for the blood is the life. So sitteth she from age to age, and the righteous are never weary of her kisses, and by her murders and fornications she seduceth the world. Therein is manifested the glory of my Father, who is truth.
(This wine is such that its virtue radiateth through the cup, and I reel under the intoxication of it. And every thought is destroyed by it. It abideth alone, and its name is Compassion. I understand by "Compassion," the sacrament of suffering, partaken by the true worshipers of the Highest. And it is an ecstasy in which there is no trace of pain. Its passivity (=passion) is like the giving-up of the self to the beloved.)

Gives some insight mayhaps into WHERE THE KILLER WINED

I've been following CiW for a while, and lurking around here and UnForums trying to make sense of this stuff. While I wish I'd had some more direct influence in the investigation (where are these clues coming from, anyways? I'd sure like to receive a few :)) I figured I could toss in my two cents as my first official post here. Since I'm in TX, there's no way I could get to the cemetaries or any other place nearby for that matter, so I'll leave it up to you guys.

Carrying on:

"The garden where the killer wined"

Does anyone else notice that when you go to that grave locator and type in "rose", several people are buried in "Gardens"?

http://www.rosehills.com/graveLocationS ... ID=4477928
^ for example, the "Garden of Peace"

http://www.rosehills.com/graveLocationS ... ?Name=Rose
^ a list of all the people named "Rose" buried there

And doe-eyed moppet...maybe this isn't referring to Bree at all, maybe it's referring to the shape or style of grave marker. Maybe a statue of a child and something else (the only friend), and nearby, perhaps a cup or chalice of some sort for holding flowers....

So my idea would be to find a gravestone bearing the name "rose", which had some sort of statue on it (cherub, child, maybe even some sort of animal?) that's fenced in.

Either that, or "where the killer wined" is actually "whined", but i doubt that, because wouldn't Cassie have just put a H in the anagram? it's not a serapis quote, so therre's probably not a lot of interpretation in there...although it might make sense to start searching those roses in the graveyard on google, perhaps one of them was, in fact, a murderer. Maybe even Cassie's killer....

If we are meant to think that wined=whined, I like that killer guy posted earlier. He was allegedly dragged kicking and screaming (whining?) to the electric chair....

Just a thought :)

I'm pretty sure judging by the definition here; http://wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=moppet

by moppet she means bree, and by the moppet's only friend she means herself.

OR: WE are her only friend?!

Edit: well I see, this isn't helping at all.... confusing only....

Another theory (although I like the one about the Rose Hill Memorial):

The garden where the killer wined

If we suppose Frank to be the killer - rifle, alcohol, blackouts and so on - and he himself told us he is in a motel, could the "garden" then be the place where he is staying at the moment?

So a) a motel called "Garden something" in Azusa
or b) a motel in the town called Arcadia near Azusa?

Maybe this is too far streched... But finding the picture (perhaps the micropic) is def the next thing to be done!

Edit: Rereading this and the last posts I think we have to find two locations: the possible drop of the picture and the place for the 12th of october

What do you think?!?!

That was before Frank was introduced. Cassie is either (1) a ghost possessing Franks body or (2) Franks split-personality.

Personally, I think shes a ghost.

I agree. Bree and Frank sharing the same split personality? No way. lol I think it's pretty much set in stone now that Cassie is dead.

k, random, and trout away if this was posted elsewhere, but once we get more detailed information on a drop point, I wonder if the "SO" in the phrase "SO DEPICTS A ROSE IN SOIL FENCED" is a directional indicator -- abbreviation for "South". *scurries off*

How are we sure it's a cemetary? Everyone is talking like it is, but:

"the garden where the killer wined" doesn't sound like a cemetary to me.

The one thing I REALLY REALLY find interesting about that sugestion... is that it would be a perfect fit with th line "where the killer wined".

Yeah, I had thought about Bonelli park too. I grew up right by there. My brain is just so fried right now that I can barely think about anything. This stuff is getting soooo complicated.
