This is way late on my part....but I AGREE!
My boyfriend and I have already decided that we aren't going to be having children (and now he's fixed so its final)
But I did have a few stupid names picked out when I was a kid....
Girl-Jatisha Tiffany
Boy-Castley O'Shea (pronounced like Cast-Lee)

What? You can't have kids or something?

There is a difference between can't and meant....
I personally just don't like them and I don't have the time to have to deal with something like that.

Exactly Beckers.
I can myself (at least I think I'm able to have children). My boyfriend isn't able to have kids anymore (thank goodness)
I want to be free to do things whenever I want (like travel etc). Plus I'm not good with kids. I have little patience for most of the things they do and therefore I made the smart choice by deciding that I wasn't meant to be a mom. I'm too bipolar (seriously) to deal with kids...and i would never want to be a mom if I would only turn out to be a bad mom.

Hmmmm... I... see...
I dunno... One of the last people I'd ever expect to have children is expecting and the baby is due next month...
I say that I'd never expect her to have kids because she is also kinda bipolar, but then again, her husband does take very good care of her, so I'd guess he'd do the same with his kids... I dunno...
At the rate I'm going, I'm probably never going to have kids, either.
Then again, raising children is not very high on my list of priorities, at the moment, either.

sorry Kage!
Yea one of my best friends is extremely bipolar and she had/has a lot of trouble dealing with her kids. I always felt sorry for her children because when my friend isn't on medication she has a really bad temper so these kids were always getting in trouble for stuff and getting yelled at. So...I never wanted to end up like that. Especially since there are people out there who have a hard time with post partum depression.
Edit to add: Icel Brook is a great name...I LOVE it!

Ugh, parents: Please don't name your kid's "cutesy" or "cool" names like Flower, Whisper, Haze or Stockholm or Bowser or junk like that. While it's neat now, it's really the kid who'll have to live with it until someone allows them to change it.
Growing up was a difficult to pronounce last name was hard, but mix that with "Faith" and you've got teasing that's lasted fourteen years and counting. "Faith" wasn't so bad, until your full name gets called during attendance and people find out your middle name is "Princess." Besides, how hard is it to admit you were named after a George Michael song?
I'm actually eighteen. The reason why I listed fourteen years was because for the first four years of my life, my first and middle names were reversed. My dad had it changed to spare me the brunt of it all, but I still kind of wish he'd at least changed my middle name to something a little bit more normal.
I can't change it because it would break my mother's heart, and it would take another fourteen years to get everyone to call me a different name, but I did get to choose my Confimation name: Cecilia. Nothing wrong with that, unless people are willing to admit they listen to Simon and Garfunkel (which isn't a bad thing.)
So again, parents: you can be original without being cruel. Just remember that.
Oh, another thing. It's really silly, but I was always a little sad missing out on things like getting those "personalized" pencils at the store, or never finding my name on a keychain at a giftshop. I've gotten over it now, but still.
