Gemma has been contacted by the order and told to keep us busy whilst they do unspeakable things to Bree and Daniel. It's all so obvious.

Seriously though, Gemma seems to be acting a lot like Bree. Even the style of the video seemed very Bree like. This has probably already been mentioned but I'm not going to go through 9 pages of messages...well I probably will when I get bored.

I kind of thought of how some people on the forums dislike her character or believe she's not in Bree's favour. maybe she's hinting that we got her all wrong...


Edit: oh yea, and some actual discussion would be great. I'm all for expressing your opinions, but we could've done without the 10th comment about how much this video sucks.

also, does anyone think the hand gesture gemma used to indicate the trail, (two fingers walking) was odd at the end? the "walking fingers" was followed by a sweeping gesture with the two fingers. asl sign for "H".
i know, lame, but i can't come up with anything else this video says.
i was one of those thinking gemma was still w/ the order so the above point about her roomates, sorry flatmates, thinking she was the ill-mannered one and how that could be a message to us about her true alignment, has me reconsidering.

Interesting theory you may be right. Gemma will play a bigger role during the climax of the series I think. Too bad she's so far away from Bree. Maybe she'll come visit for christmas?

I hated the video when I first saw it. I felt royally gipped. But, after reading the discussions here, it's starting to grow on me. I'm very interested to see exactly what the creators have in store for Gemma and what her actual contribution to the story will be.

So far, she's just done a lot of blah blah blahing.

Okay. My opinion. A lot of you wondered why Gemma says that she didn't hear about Bree although she wanted to check her parents house.

BUT: Maybe Gemma watched these vids, but she isn't concerned. She doesn't think that anything bad happened. If that's the case her comment "didn't hear about you" refers to the weekend (there were no new vids this weekend?).

But maybe this means that Bree and Daniel aren't able to create videos at this very moment (in trouble???).

Just an idea. I have been watching the video for only three days and i am trying to get into the whole thing. But I am totally addicted, that's for sure.

Almost wish there was someone on these boards *Hint hint* who was in phone contact with Daniel and Bree. It may be that they're not in a place, or just don't have time, to make a vlog. But, surely they could pick up the phone and call someone to say "hey...this is what's going on. Video soon!"

thank you, totally agree. she should do a video like danielbeast about how she looks at this forum and reads some of the comments and responds to them so she can shut half the people on here up who can't stop complaining everytime they don't like a video. it's life people. if you don't like the videos, quit watching or suck it up and deal with it b/c you're not going to like every movie or every episode of every show you see. people are acting like spoiled 2 year olds on here and even that statement is an insult to 2 year olds.

Okay I'm gonna nit pick like everyone once used to do, and go over what's been said.
Gemma either:
*Has seen them, but is talking in code, for some reason.

She mentions her room mates as beast:
*Or she is suggesting that the closest people to Bree are actually Beast, and to be Weary, and only trust DanielBeasts. The roommates, who could be people close to Bree may seem nice at first, and may have different beliefs to Bree. Bree might end up thinking that maybe, she is thinking in the wrong.. but not to believe it.

The trail of crumbs:
*significance that Gemma is leaving Bree a trail, and leaving clues, but Bree is just shrugging Gemma off?

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking as well.

She warned bree in her other videos. Said it wasn't really her choice, then the deacons came bac saying Bree didn't have a choice. Then the other family disapeared, now Bree's parent's have dissapeared. This video goes on about how people who you thought were one thing turn out to be another. Gemma knows the power of the Order and is talking in code.

How did Gemma miss Bree's last vids? Does she mean she hasn't heard from Bree as far as Bree posting a vlog to Gemma?

i think she means that she hasn't posted a response to her vlog. and i don't know why people are complaining about her not being a good friend. what is she supposed to do? express concern over what other than she hasn't heard from bree? ok, so bree hasn't heard from her parents but that doesn't mean they disappeared. they could just be busy or whatever. well, something probably did happen to them but there's no reason for gemma to be like, omg, i'm so sorry about what happened to you, are you ok, blah blah blah. as far as i can see, she's being a good friend to bree.

I think overall they are just devloping a new character. possibly to take the show to other people as well. maybe then it will last longer. just an idea though .
