Totally agree. No other point in taking them.
My only question is, how is the cult going to communicate with Bree now? Maybe they will go online, knowing they can find her now (because they took her hard drive, darn it)? That would make for some interesting viewing. They couldn't come right out and say "Hey Bree, we have your parents, come to the ceremony at this address, or we'll kill 'em".
So they'd have to do it in code or clues, which would give us something to freaking do, as well! Back to scouring the internet to figure out the clues!
Maybe they did take Owen and Thor, and will use them in the videos in place of her parents..."Bree, this is Lucy. As you can see, I have Thor and Owen. If you ever want to see them again, your going to have to take part in the stuffed animal recovery program. You
know what I mean. I'll be on again to give you more details in the days to come."

I don't think it's plausable to say that they're just staying away until the ceremony is over- they don't know when that woul dbe, and how would they find out? Maybe they could watch the news for a report of Sunnydale sinking into the Hellmouth, but...
He he... it'll never happend and feel retarded for saying this but if they are in California....then Buffy and Angel can help save the day!!
I'm such a dork (and the HUGEST Buffy and Angel fan in the world)

Hmmm, could part of the ceremony be that Bree has to sacrifice
her parents?
I know Gemma said that the other family disappeared, but that they got occaisional letters from them. However, she said that the letters didn't sound like them, that they had changed somehow. Maybe because they were actually written by the Deacons, to keep people from wondering where they had gone
when the were really dead?

LOL!
Would be nice to get some more of the characters onscreen though. As much as I like Bree and Daniel (personally, not so hot on Gemma), it would certainly give a nice touch to start getting some of the others involved somehow.

I hope this image above shows up....Is it just me or does Deacon Baldy McCreepy (LOVE that name CB Woman) appear to be looking in the direction of Bree and Daniel.

ha...I know this is a wack idea...but it'd be such a twist if this was really the case.
I thought something like that too. Because if Bree's dad is a doctor as it has been so strongly hinted, I don't think he would join a Thelemic cult. What rational professional would want to become a Thelema. Aleister Crowley's writings are incoherent blathering and a bunch of mumbo-jumbo.
Umm, one of Crowley's disciples, Parsons I think, was the founder of the Jet Propulsion Lab, one of the premier scientific research centers in the world.
Now that I read that, my comment kind of looks mean...but his writings don't make sense....the Quran in Arabic would probably make more sense to me (I'm not Muslim or do I speak Arabic) than what Crowley writes about!!

Isn't that the head rest?
Now I have to go back and watch the video, lol.

Hmm...why didn't the cult make their move on Daniel and Bree when they were near the house watching her parents be taken away? Cause I know they had to of been watching them, if they have been watching Daniel's house then they would know that Bree is with him....

Yep, that roundish shape in the picture is a head rest, not Baldy McCreepy.

Oooh this is exciting and I've so much to say and ask!
first of all, I thought that Deacon McCreepy Kinda looks like Phil Collins - the heavier version.
(yea, when Daniel asked, "Bree, who's that guy?" I almost expected her to answer, "I dunno, but he kinda looks like Phil Collins...")
And now,
That video was great, but not very convincing. being on the run but being able to upload videos?
Did anyone else notice how
dark that video is? it also looks like they didn't shoot most of it during the day, but at sunset. I think they were trying to make it look darker.
When they're spying her parents, why's the street so empty? it looks like a neighborhood where people live and dogs bark and children play, yet the streets are empty.
Lucy and Deacon both wearing black, and that *obviously* mean they've no good intentions
What you guys were saying about Bree's behaviour, you can't judge a person's behaviour when he's so worried and sad! anyone reacts differently. I don't think it has anything to do with her shots.
Talking about the shots, wouldn't something happen once she stopped taking them? it's been awhile. even if it was just vitamines, wouldn't she starts feeling different?

Some more thoughts...
to me it looks like they were leaving town - we see an industrial area first, then some buildings, then the highway, and the open fields...
B: "This I spy game". D: "Are we still playing that?" obviously a clue. dunno, *you* tell me.
What about the radio sounds?
I wonder how much money they have, AND
how ther parents are ever gonna contact her if they've a message for her. I mean, what are Bree and Daniel planning? they can't keep driving forever.
We should eb figuring out so much from this video.

What would make that person so special? I can't think of too many answers to that question, but the one I keep thinking of over and over again is that it has something to do with her heritage/bloodline. I mean...most other factors that would make her "special" ...someone else could have too. Even if they only still wanted her because she's already "prepared", wouldn't they have a back-up? They must not have a back-up and there can only be a certain number of reasons why.

I’ve been saying for a few weeks that this is no religious cult. It’s the Illuminati. Bree has been chosen to be the foundation (the mother or “Anchor”, if you will) of their design for a New World Order – the Order of Denderah. Anchor Cove = the new Plymouth. There’s something in her heritage that makes her the chosen one.
But no one wants to belieeeevee meeee. Ho hum….
So many theories....so little time. A lot of this stuff just enters my brain and quickly exits. The illuminati thing may be correct. Of course, with whatever whacked out "religion" this is suppsed to be...a blood/DNA theory could tie into "religion" as well. I don't kow why, but lately it's just become blatantly obvious to me that it
has to be something like that. I don't see another option. I can't keep up with everything on the forum so maybe I'm late in realizing this...but I havent noticed anyone explicitly talking about it.
PS Another thing I've thought about is that I think Daniel definately lives by himself. They said they thought it wasn't safe to go back to his place and if his parents lived there, they probably wouldn't be safe either. I think they would have mentioned that they had to tell his parents about all this and get them out of the house.. etc. It's possible that that happened, but I think it's just too much extra, un-neccessary crap to have to throw into the plot line. It makes sense that he lives alone.

So I guess Daniel has a laptop and a WiFi connection.
Ya know?
