I have to agree with omega, here.

More goes against it being Thelema than goes for it. All you have to do is ask one of the Thelemites that frequent here or dig in this thread a bit and find the very, very, very indepth discussions about it.

And...I would hate for this to be a real religion...and I doubt the creatatrons would do this with a real religion, since they are pretty well making it out to be horrible, etc.

On the thought of golden jewel being a clue...I wouldn't know where to start. I mean, what is Egypt known for? Gold...Jewels...etc...

I go to Barnes and Noble almost every week, and I can tell you, there are about a million books about Egypt with crap glued on them to look like jewels.

If that's a clue, it's a crappy one. I don't know how anyone could find exactly the right book given just that info.

Yeh, i can agree with this. To be honest its not the thelema thing i'm most annoyed about, it's the complete backtracking from religous connections, and the flimsy concept of a secret society im peeved at.

Thing is...the religion thing has always been extremely vague...so that's why I don't understand the back tracking comment

Good gosh, at this point we can't even be sure that they really aren't worshiping a head of cabbage! The clues are all over the place. There are so many branches that have to do with ancient Egypt, Crowley, etc.

I'm still betting that it's a completely made up religion that is just taking bits and pieces from here and there. Even the name "The Order" is vague enough to be traced back to a bunch of different cults/organizations. There is no ability to prove/disprove anything at this point.

lol you're right , she might as well of mentioned pyramids. the only way I can see any info been garnered from this is if there was a specific heiroglyph that this refered to.

I have to say that despite this being my least favorite video, the creators sure know how to garner reactions from people!

hmm, i'm not really sure what to think. thelema could still tie in to the religious undertones of "the order." to address the question of who gemma is speaking to, i don't think it is bree. she says "it isn't thelema, as many have suspected.." thus addressing those of us in the forums directly. so i think she's talking to us when she tells us it is the order. she also can't do much from across the world, so i think she's trying to help bree by telling us information, because we are closer to bree than she is. however, i do not doubt the possibility that she is hiding something.. and that there is something about her that may be kind of ..dangerous. this is really getting exciting. saiokf98ut =D

yesterday i DREAMT about LG15. i had this crazy dream that there were these pieces of paper left around my house, and each one was from a different character, and led to the next one. finally, it ended at a movie theater, where the last LG15 video was presented. in it, it was raining and bree was in the woods, telling the truth about her mother. her mother was this scary dark-haired lady.. who looked like a zombie. she was following her mother around, but her mother never looked back to see her. then her mother finally turned around, nodded, and disappeared. then bree turned around to see a little girl, following her in that same zombie-like fashion. then bree was shown walking around the woods, being followed by this little girl. then they arrived at that lake in the reservoir, and climbed the cliff behind it. then bree turned to the girl and said "your turn" and jumped in the water, mimicking the scene from cassie's first video "ths is my story now." then it zoomed in on the little girl, who was very scary-looking. she looked into the camera and mouthed "i was here' as you heard cassie's voice from the video and saw scenes from everything in the series flashing in her eyes. then it went black and "The End." was spelled out.

it was terrifying.

vague on specifics yes, but you surely can't claim that religion hasn't been a massive theme throughout the series?

No, no, not claiming that at all. Just, we never really get to hear much of what it's about, etc. That's what I meant.

lol. sorry to get into an argument. to be honest ive been lurking for months now, and used to think 'how can they get so riled up....now i'm beginning to understand lol. I've never even posted on a forum until this one for ffs

It just goes to show the things LG15 can do to a person...

personally I think it's great we all care so much about it, more so than I do about any television programme....except maybes LOST

i'm confused now. does bree even know that she's not in a religion b/c she's always like i can't tell you about my religion in her videos and this isn't a religion. i suspected long ago that it wasn't any of the normal religions, more of a cult but what do her parents tell her about it?

i think if you're in a secret order created by someone, the order can create whatever titles they want and set up whatever hierarchy they want. who cares if they're called deacons and whether there are non-religious deacons.
