Canon is a term that has been used probably before the time of the bible. If you have to study a bible for any reason you will hear about what it took to get those specific books "cannonized" and included in the bible. Its been awhile but I think you can also cannonize saints as well.

And yeah, I think the consensus is he is cannon. At this late stage Bree isnt going to mention someone who isnt. Look at it this way... Bree could have extremely easily substituted any number of usernames here on the forums or videos for Jonas. He's not the only one who has been giving that advice. So why mention Jonas? Cannon!

While I love looking at Jonas, I hope he is not introduced to create a love interest for Bree. I really like the chemistry that she has with Daniel and I'd hate to see it ruined.

Jonas provides some wonderful eye candy, but honestly, I think Daniel is very very sweet and adorable with bree! I'd hate to see the duo broken up.


Just because he was mentioned, I don't see how they would all tie together. it would make sense on one level for bree and daniel to go stay with him for a while, but honestly, why would bree go stay with a complete stranger? I would think that Daniel would have a problem with that since he tends to be the more cautious one.


btw I didn't notice it before but does anyone know where Jonas is? I don't think he's mentioned it.

I don't know. is there any particular reason why I should know who they are? I hate most of the really popular people on YouTube. Lonelygirl is for some odd reason an exception. I just don't think her stuff is stupid like most of the stuff I've seen. I usually look for movies or commercials (especially the banned ones) or other very specific things on youtube. I didn't know who Jonas was for a long time either.

I guess I'd better educate myself and go find out who TheWineKone is though since they are apparently so important.

Great video. One of the best yet. It was great to see those two getting along again. Moments like this are the ones that really remind us why we care what happens in this series.

Unfortunately, it probably means something bad will happen soon.

Anyway, I have to agree with a few other points that have been made. First, it does seem like a third person was holding the camera/laptop at one point. Fine by me. It allowed us to get a great shot we couldn't have otherwise gotten. And, really, it's not like we don't know this is a show. Supsension of disbelief regarding whether this is real or not vanished long before even the official "outing," so it's not necessary that they try to uphold it.

Second, Jonas is definitely canon now. There's absolutely no way he would have been mentioned otherwise (as if the editing of those videos wasn't give away enough).

The other thing I have to agree with is this:

Let Gemma have Jonas if you've got to pair him with somebody. Though it'd be nice if he could just be an advice giver/friend/refuge offerer that doesn't have to be shoved into some kind of pairing.

Oh, and using him to get Daniel jealous would be absolutely cliche, and I know the Creators don't want to go that way. Right, Creators?

Edit: Ah, forgot to mention. It's nice to see Bree acting more mature even while being playful.

Not because he's cannon, because he's got a large fanbase already. People know him, more importantly, the creators know that people "want" Bree to mention him.

Interesting that you mentioned Who's the Boss, I watched that show when I was younger and then I started watching the re-runs not too long ago.
The thing between Angela and Tony always drove me crazy....

I know this sounds bad but if they bring in Jonas to be a love interest for Bree, I'll probably stop watching... maybe not right away, but eventually I'll lose interest. Jonas is hot and all, but Daniel is soooo sweet.

Having Jonas be a love interest for Gemma would just be stupid. Half the forum doesn't even like her anyway. Then again, half the guys in the forum don't like Jonas

I don't think that sounds bad, to be honest. It'd be an awful, disillusioning development in my opinion.

Sure, Jonas seems like a nice guy, and I think I like him, but he can remain a decent individual and I can continue to like him without him interfering in the Daniel-Bree love. And like you said, Daniel's just so damn sweet, and has been so loyal.

I dont think Jonas was ever brought in as love interest material -
Perhaps for the love of watchers thus expanding the audience.

Instead he seems to be some sort of parallel to Bree's life.
(Having similar experiences or needs to grow up faster, however still having this real childlike attitude as they both have.)
Except without the occult.

He may be bringing in new audience.
He is a bree who is simply unlucky not tied up in "Creepy" scenario's.
and he is Hottt.

so I was thinking that she was looking at picture of her family or even the note they left her at the end...maybe she was given directions in the note to meet them there or even that the picture she was holding was of them as a family there and she was upset at the end "all of a sudden" because they wern't there.
