Interesting- the more I look at the symbol the more I notice how it's NOT like an infinity sign. It's not exactly level, is it? the smaller (?) circle seems to be lower than the slightly larger one. Also, the outer lines don't exactly connect- even if you take into account that it's really round. It's almost like a caligraphied "S" with everything touching.

That's what I thought too.....somewhere in the first couple of pages and being realllllly tired I mentioned it, but with sleep I still think the same thing.

INFINITY: In ancient India and Tibet, it represented perfection, dualism, and unity between male and female. In the occult tarot it's linked to magic and represents equilibrium or the balance of various forces. The uroborus (a circular serpent biting its tail -- a UN symbol for "Human Settlements") has been found in this shape. In modern times, it became a secular mathematical symbol for infinity in numbers, time or space (eternity).

I really don't think it's the symbol for Infinity. The one side is much larger than the other, and the symbol usually meets at the middle, not the sides.

Exactly! I think that's how most Benny Hill montages went, anyway...

Deacons start chasing him, he crawls under the bed and then pops out of the closet, they all fall down and we see the fall backwards and forwards about three or four times really fast, Lucy shows up in her underwear and they all chase her...

How about this symbol?

If turned on its side...it could be very similar to what is on that box.

The Ouroboros is a greek word, and means "tail swallower." The ouroboros is usually depicted in the form of a snake swallowing its tail, and is usually circular, although it is sometimes depicted in a lemniscate shape. It originated in Egypt as a symbol of the sun, and represented the travels of the sun disk. In Gnosticism, it was related to the solar God Abraxas, and signified eternity and the soul of the world

In alchemy, it represents the spirit of Mercury (the substance that permeates all matter), and symbolizes continuous renewal (a snake is often a symbol of resurrection, as it appears to be continually reborn as it sheds its skin.), the cycle of life and death, and harmony of opposites.

A double ouroboros (two creatures swallowing one another) in alchemy signifies volatility. Spiritually, it signifies the balance of the upper and lower natures.

The Ouroboros appears in many other cultures and settings as well...the Serpent Jormungandr of Norse legend, who encircled the world, and guarded Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, is often depicted as an ouroboros. The Aztec serpent God Queztacoatl was depicted similarly, and Chinese alchemical dragons have both similar shapes and meaning.

If it is like pictured above, a snack swallowing its tail, then it would make sense why the circles curve more, rather than staying complete and bold.

and then Gemma turns up so they all turn around and chase her.
Then gemma starts blabbing on about her date with her flatmate (combination double pointscore!), so they turn around and go the other way..
(His room could get cramped very fast.. they'll have to be a secret trap door.. )

I think Daniel has had it...and he is going on the offensive. Nice job Daniel!

I also am trying to figure out WHAT they got. I am impressed that he found the camera...and am guessing that Op will post a video soon showing just WHAT they got. After all...there were a HECK of a lot of cameras in that place.

OOOOH, good point Kasdeja...

All we know is SOMEHOW Op got in his house...

You know...that brings up another question...HOW did Op get into his house. MAYBE his parents are sleeper members. We don't know how this happened, and his parents don't seem too concerned for where he is at.

TRUST NOONE...not even your own parents.

Ya know, I found it strange thathis parents didn't notice that someone came into their house and wired their son's room with cameras. I also think it's strange, well interesting, that he keeps stressing how much his parents don't notice, don't care...I think Daniel's character has yet to really reveal himself.
