the only thing that bothered me was knowing who, when, where, and the title of the vid i dont care at all who they got to do what, just that they told us in advance
Uhm, you get that when you look at TV listings or see previews of new episodes.
The only thing we know is that they're finally leaving the house. It's about damn time. They can't stay there forever.

No they aren't but I remember saying that when I first posted I wa comenting in regards to the ARG no the series... lmfai
All I wanted was not to yelled at any more... since we've gotten there... I can respect the opinons being stated...
But for ref sake... I was talking about the ARG and I was never "Complaining" about the idea just pointing it ouit
So in the article it DOES say that they creators are looking for ways to include the fans!!! (I did read that didn't I???)

does that mean we all have the opportunity to make cameo's if we're in the area???
If so...man....i know a bunch of people who definately deserve a cameo (cough cough the OpAphid drop retrival crew)(and we all want T-dubb to get a cameo)
Nikki Bower most definately deserves a Cameo. A vid where she interviews the trio would be awesome.

I'm ALL FOR some fans being included in the cameo role. There are some people that really deserve it...the drop crews, INCLUDING the CiW ones.
And...some of the fanfic people, too.

Assuming...that she isn't tied in a bit, eh?

part of this being the type of story it has been so far, was throwing in the idea that it was really happening. i know people are saying "this is fake and has always been so" i understand that. but a major difference between this and a work of fiction is that the fiction is read or watchded, KNOWing that its fiction. this is watched ACTing like its real. there is a major difference. while we know they are actors, the story has been presented in a way that tells us it is really goin on.
this being said as both an ARG player and just a fan of the series, when i look at the TV guide i have a choice because i know theres gonna be a synopsis of the episode when i read it. when i browse the forums i dont expect to see a Plot Discussion thread about whats coming up on friday!!
big difference
Edited: to Mods, maybe put a *spoiler* warning in thie heading of this thread, i know it spoiled alot for some of us

You also don't expect to see Bill Clinton playing the roll of a lost young boy at sea either....
Hence the crumbleing 4th wall thing...

HOW famous really doesn't matter...
It's the fact that her fame is readily available to the global public...
So far the actors in the show have had no accreditation.. So you would never say... "Hey, Isn't that Sissy Frenchfry's Cheerleader Friend" or something... (That's a bit of an inside joke...)
But when THAT many people can look at her and go... "Hey... Isn't that McFever!?
" That's when it has done real dammage to the 4th wall...
Really MOST ARG players will not research the azctors REAL identities until the ARG is over so as not to spoil it but that's a select few...
I just say why take the "Realism" out of the story is all... Not that I think this is a bad idea... there are ALLOT of posatives to it... I'm just sayin... You have to KNOW this can change the whole culture of the series.arg, community and even form of media... right?

I guess...but according to your example I commented on...I doubt many people have to google Bill Clinton to have an idea what he even looks like, let alone who he is. Shoot, even this chick's pic didn't help me. And...the rest of your post I don't see how it applies to me so I'll just leave it.

No, I got your point, I just completely disagree. I don't think LG15 is any different than any other work of fiction. It's just presented in a different format. Anybody who acts as if this is real clearly doesn't understand it.
And it has nothing to do with the ARG. I think some of the ARG players are having trouble compartmentalizing the two as separate beings. Yes, they are related and they interact...but they have completely separate lives.
On the other end...Katharine McPhee did this for free. She's getting promotion out of it, and it would be an injustice for them not to announce her appearance. The announcement will garner interest and new fans. There really is no downside to this because everyone benefits.
If some of you guys are pissy because you feel like the storyline has been spoiled. Really...if you want to avoid spoilers, you shouldn't have opened the thread. Besides, nothin'g been spoiled...they have a fresh face and we know Bree gets out of the house. That's not really a great deal of information, and nothing that hasn't been speculated about for days now.
