Prepared how tho? Bree didn't have any earplugs that I could see, nor did she have the matrix-shades like Lucy and the others did. And even if you are prepared, 1 million candlepower light and 180+db of sound in a room thats 6x6x9 its not something you can just snap out of.

The part about Jonas would explain A LOT. Not only does it explain why he is so far behind, but he also certainly acts like he's surprised, AND it might explain his skepticism that it really is Brother. Like, he's heard of Brother and watched the videos, but can't imagine that Brother is right there and ready to rescue them.

According to Wikipedia, a flashbang can affect someone from 5 seconds to a minute. Since Bree was expecting the flash grenade to go off, she probably could have snapped out of it pretty quickly. I am not saying it didn't affect her. In fact, I believe the "Daniel? Daniel! RUN!" during the blackness was probably her trying to run while she couldn't see or keep her balance.

Also, Lucy and the crew may have gotten scared and not known exactly what the bomb was at first. In the confusion, they may have actually thought it was an explosive device and were afraid someone was seriously hurt. Maybe that also stalled them a few minutes.

I'm just saying.

This is going to be long, but it should explain just about everything.

It really doesn't look like there was enough time for the door of the elevator to be opened after the flashbang went off.

So what if the Flashbang really did knock everyone in the elevator out, including Bree?

Jonas could have run up the stairs, draging Daniel with him, to whatever floor the elevator ended up being on, and pushed the call button. Since the elevator was already there the door would have just opened revealing 5 unconsious(sp?) people. Then he would have dragged Bree out and tried to wake her up. The blackout, when Bree says "Daniel? Daniel? RUN!" is her waking up (it would have bee a few minutes since the flashbang went off at this point) and realizing what's going on. They take off and Lucy would have woken up a few seconds later and gone after them.

This leaves Tachyon plenty of time to escape and explains why the other 3 dudes in the elevator are no where to be found. Also, since he would have had to run up who knows how many flights of stairs, it could also explain why Jonas was falling behind. Bree was helping Daniel so it would stand to reason that he'd fall in between her and Jonas.

And finally, Jonas would have handed Bree the camera anyway because he could climb the ladder better without it in his hands.

That does make a lot of sense... but I think that Jonas would still have the camera rolling, and there would be some footage of the waking Bree up part in the video.

yeah I dont think bree let jonas in on the plan. In the begining he asks her " are you sure your ready for this" she says something like " he saved my life its the least i can do" then she tells him "take care of him ok" so i dont think he knew anything about it even though i thought she looked at him kinda weird when she said that last part.

Yeah I mean it still leaves a bunch of questions, but at least everything is possible that way. Bree doesn't have to be able to withstand the flashbang, and Tach doesn't have to be invisible.

But I agree, there should have been some amount of footage from that stuff if it did happen. Oh! Unless Tachy was with them and she asked them not to post any video that she was in.

She could have been wearing earplugs - her hair could have been covering her ears? And she could have closed her eyes, I'm not saying that wouldn't have still blinded her, but she would have recovered faster than the people who had their eyes open and weren't expecting anything.

How do we know bree didn't have earplugs? those small earplus you stick into the ears are hard to see.

She definitely had her eyes closed.

Most of all she KNEW it was coming. For a few seconds they might be thinking the elevator completely exploded. she knew she could open the elevator door immediately and scram.

I'm not saying she wouldn't be handicapped but she'd have one up on everyone who was taken by surprise. As we can tell, lucy was not far behind. It's also possible that the kids are much faster runners than Lucy and the rest of the order.

I was trying to think whyt he camera was all black when bree said "daniel, daniel, run!".

I also want to know why bree said "wait - stop!"

Heres a closeup on her ear. There's a piece of hair that seems wrapped up in something in her hear but it is probably nothing. But that doesn't mean there's nothing - i couldn't find a clear shot that could prove anything one way or the other.

Wax earplugs and those tiny flesh colored foamy things are barely noticable.

Ohhhh I see. I was thinking of an emergency call button. My apartment has one on the lobby level and for the frieght elevator in the basement. YOu need a key to access it. i totally missed your point, sorry. That's a great theory.

I was thinking that too, and likewise couldn't see a reason why she'd want to abort.
