I was just thinking the same thing. All the ones I remember where Golden yellow front and back.
*fades to black*
It depends on what edition. Most yellow spines were made in the 70's but each book in the earlier stories has about four seperate covers. This is what I have for Quest of the Missing Map.

Like Bree unknowningly being held prisoner in Jonas' house (which is apparently big and luxurious like a mansion) and Tachyon is sending her strange clues?!
Maybe this means that Jonas IS working for the enemy.

Alright, maybe this doesn't mean anything, but in Quest of the Missing Map, Nancy sets out to find a missing twin brother who owns half of a treasure map. Her client is the other brother with the other half.

If Tachyon left this package in the car for a watcher to find, then Tachyon is as big a bumbler as Leslie Nielson.

Good thinking, although there is a lot of x's for that.
BTW, I love the title of the vid. I made me laugh.
i've got it! ten x's, 3 y's.
2 girls, 3 boys, and one down syndrome girl!

Time for another wacky theory...
"X & Y" is an album by Coldplay. There are 3 y's and 11 x's. Track 3 is called "White Shadows." Track 11 is "Swallowed in the Sea."
What happened to Jonas' parents? They were apparently swallowed in the sea.

OooOoooOh.
I had another thought, regarding the ND books. There are 56 classic editions, meaning only the first 56 books (not the modern drivel they put out) are considered classic editions. Maybe the numbers of the books that Tach or whoever chose, are numbers in a phone number or some kind of code or password to the disk.
