I was more into Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, STP, Nirvana, Beck etc...which I never really stopped listening to but, fueled by an insatiable apetite for various chemical substances, were left by the wayside for masive amounts of house, jungle and breakbeats. Pretty much all of that techno sh*t has since been abandoned and bled into one, never-ending horrible song in my mind. Hm, why do I want a pacifier all of a sudden?

aside from the techno and house scene...yeah, me too. AND WEEN. ahem. Yeah, little grunge chick I guess...and junkie. Yay! What a combo!

I loved Ween too! I still do. I think I saw them...oh no I didn't. I saw the Vilent Femmes. I saw a lot of people, but I really hated shows. I was too cool to say so at the time, but I still hate shows. I won't go. The last band I saw was Portishead I think. They sounded just like they do on the album anyway. I'm old..that sh*t is too loud and there's crazy ass moron kids everywhere..ick. F that.

I never went to many shows but I think I had fun at the ones I went too. Like, I know I went to the first two ozzfests, but I really don't have much recollection of it. I'd love to see Ween, though...mainly because I love Chicago and they always play there, of course. Last show I went to was Bob Dylan, though. Now..I dunno. Friend of mine wants to get free tickets to Ozzfest...but I really don't care about most of the bands playing and don't feel like being an almost 30 year old lurking about in a crowd of kids.

I love Violent Femmes...and hate that their song is on a commercial, now.

My BF was sober last night....for the first time in over 4 months. And he was in a good mood. And he talked about actually setting a wedding date (we've been engaged for over 3 years) for this summer when I meet up with a bunch of OpHeads.

I think the Pod People took him.

no, I'm not. But since we weren't fighting, I kinda just humored him. It was nice to have a drama free night, albeit a little uncomfortable for me.

We had a historically great kegger instead of a reception, though...well..pretty much. Does it help that I think we should have just stayed the way we were? I feel a bit trapped, now.

It was the freakiest thing ever....and he's all motivated this morning, helping out with laundry, doing stuff around the house. Maybe he's on drugs...

Sounds like drugs to me..considering what a shithead he's been lately. Maybe he talked to someone and realized that he sucks? I don't know.
