0212 - "Like A Virgin" [6/13/07]

Hi guys. I have a quick question. Throughout the forums I keep reading people talking about Jessica not being available cos she's off filming. What exactly is she off filming? Did she score a big role or something? I thought she just had a small part in a tv show or something, which shouldn't be taking up that much of her time. I'm a bit confused.

Also... hated this. It's very out of character and gave us no new info aside from the fact that Taylor is even stupider and bitchier than previously thought. Yeah, we know Jonas is taking Bree ditching him hard. Yeah, we know Sarah is slutty because she has problems with her parents divorce. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

No I agree, Jonas is acting like a complete idiot, and I'm frankly quite sick of him. And yeah, Bree had a reason for using him. I'm just saying that I don't think whether or not they had sex is as big a deal as the effect it's had.

It was important to see that through all of Taylor's bitching, she still loves her sister enough to not let anyone else bring her down. Character development. That's all this simple little video was.

As for Jessica - Wiki say:
"She is currently signed by UTA and has been cast for a role in the 2007 Chris Sivertson film I Know Who Killed Me which co-stars Lindsay Lohan. Also according to IMDb, she recently finished filming Perfect Sport, directed by first-time director Anthony O'Brien, in which she played Tina."

So she's probably filming IKWKM.

As much as I enjoy the headmistress routine(ignoring the fact that yet again I feel like a dirty old man for watching a video

). Was this trip really necessary.

I had thought the Jonas was the most competent of the crew, but Jonas is feeling, I am sure, very isolated. He has now had two very important people in his life betray him.(Alex and Bree) His parents are gone.(possibly) Now everyone is turning against him. He grasped for Taylor in a last ditch effort then this. You could tell that Jonas was on the edge before this, where do you think this will leave him.

None of them are acting like adults, but how can you expect them to none of them are adults. They need to focus stop this squaballing and find Bree. Thier time could be better spent there. If ever this team needed a mentor and leader it would be now.

Awww. I feel almost bad to not love this video because it was just very cute, lol. If it had come at a time other than NOW and didn't focus on the idea that "Jonas is an overfeeling idiot" that I oppose, I'd probably love it.

I'm very, very sick of watching videos about Jonas and Bree hooking up, and I'm very, very sick about watching videos about him being angsty about it and then everyone else telling him to cut it out, argh.

Whatever happened to things like... what were they called... the ceremony? genetics? The Order? The Hymn of One...

Every time this series jaunts off into more teenage love-fest I get more and more disenchanted with it. There are a million shows out there to watch if you want to see a bunch of kids making out and having sex and then being really complicated about it all. I just escaped from my 4 years time in High School, I've had enough of the stupid drama. My favourite things in this series are anything having to do with the actual plot.

Sigh. Not like it matters, I'm too addicted to stop watching, lol.

Yeah, not a fan. DEF not my favorite video of all time.
Before, I was kind of peeved with Sarah for being all bitchy, but now . . . Taylor's an asshat and Daniel needs to grow a pair. Or at least rent some for the weekend.

Taylor HAD to go and post the e-mail, and then make a video to drive home the point that she thinks Jonas is a pussy. Drama much? She's an ish-stirrer, plain and simple. The guy is going through some things, and Taylor can't be sympathetic. She can hardly wait to chastise him for being all anti-Sarah. I mean, seriously, I don't think anyone's expecting her to never say anything about it, but can't you wait a couple of days to be all "Hey, stop calling my sister a ho"?

Daniel seems to have forgotten the "Bros before Hos" philosophy. I mean, JoJo's so emo right now he looks like he might slit his wrists at any second, and all Daniel can say is "He BCCd me--He blind copies me." I mean, Daniel is the most senior nonincapicitated member of the TAAG right now--step up and try to increase the peace. Letting all this back-and-forth shit-fitting go on isn't helping anyone find Bree.

I think Taylor's point in making this video was to inflict more pain and embarassment for Jonas and to show the LG community she too can be "sexy."

Not a fan.

I agree. I thought it was a sort-of competition with Sarah that she did this. Like, 'Sarah's not the only on with sexuality, you know! Look at me!'

I'm pretty sure IKWKM is finished filming since it's being released in July.

OK.. I've read 7 pages worth so far.

1st of all, why isn't Taylor as "traumatized and hurt" as Sarah about their father?

2nd of all, why does everyone keep referring to Taylor's riding crop as a "whip?"

3rd of all, I agree.. Where the heck is Daniel in all this? It's like he's faded out of the plot!!

Yeah, and what's with all this teen drama during a time when the primary objective should be to find Bree? EVERYONE is being demeaned right now.

Basically, Sarah demeans Daniel, like he's just a piece of meat. Taylor demeans Jonas, for having a problem with it and other things. Nasty, nasty.

They are all selfish. They are all so caught up in themselves that Bree could die and they'd still be having Teenage Pwning Theater!!!

I know they're trying to buy time till Jess is back but why put in a storyline like this when it doesn't really add anything - and more to the point isn't a very realistic reaction?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Is Jessica actually gone filming another project or is this just what the creators are writing? It seems all the projects we know about she has finished filming?
