To be fair the word occult has many meanings, and Cu Roi is using the fourth definition of the word. The primary definition is quite different.

occult - Of, relating to, or dealing with supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena.

However, Christianity does not contain any "hidden teachings or knowledge". Everything that is part of practicing Christianity is taught in the New Testament by Jesus and the apostles. There are no secret rituals, no hidden teachings, and no hidden knowledge. Now, that is not to say that people throughout history have not taken their own interpretations and started cults based on a few select verses in the Bible, but that does not make them Christian, nor a part of Christianity.

Christianity - The Christian religion, founded on the life and teachings of Jesus.

[Luke 8:17] For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

Which is exactly why it was addressed as FYI...just trying to enlighten...or be lucid. ;)

Sure. I am always interested in what you have to say :) (This was the main discussion thread and was getting completely off topic - with my help - so thanks)

I refuse to get drawn into a disscussion on religion...or politics for that matter, but every religion has esoteric knowledge. Keep in mind that Christianity was around before the Bible, and there have always been many flavors of faith relating to Jesus, Thelema being one of them. I know that sounds sacrilegious, but I'm just stating fact.

Religion by it's very nature deals with "supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena" and is occult in nature. He moves in mysterious ways, apparently.

On a more serious note (if any of this is serious), I think we would be foolish to disregard Kelrast. He has very explicitly driven us in the right direction twice before and I would be comfortable imagining him one of "Cassie's Helpers".

Absolutely...the bulk of my entire post supported his argument, I merely had a footnote emphasising the distinction he made, but trying to illuminatie it further. Cassie alludes to Christianity, while Bree alludes to Thelema.

Actually I wasn't directing that at you CU_Roi - and I just found, as I was searching for Kelrasts other post, (and this might be of particular interest to you CU):
Kelrast wrote:I think the "gamejacking" is actually part of the story.

The first clue was very wet, indicating that it had been in the water for days. Only three days elapsed between Cassie's video and Cu Roi's.

The voicemail was jacked several times in ways that seemed to advance the story, and Cassie was slow to shut it down.

If Cassie tried to help Bree, but was stopped, wouldn't it make sense that Cassie's attempts to help us were similarly stopped?

There is another player in this drama, and she is now between Bree and Daniel.

I don't believe this new information. (Rememer, bree tells lies.) There is just too much incongruity with the questions that began in the Swimming video. If Cassie had just "stopped calling", because of the "whole religion thing", then why would Bree ask whatever happened to that Cassie girl? She would already know what happened to her!

Doesn't make sense.

Furthermore, why doesn't Daniel remember her?

Actually, the Bible (or biblical writings) existed before Christianity. The Nash Papyrus has been dated to the 2nd century BC.

Yeah alot here doesn't quite make sense. But I do think Bree is acting like most 16 year olds. She may know why she stopped calling (or thinks she does) but misses her friend. Just like with Daniel - she doesn't want him following her and posting Videos - but she misses him. That whole video seemed a bit like her making herself feel better about her new "direction".

I completely disagree. Cassie has never responded to a single message I've sent, and I've sent some of the exact same questions as everyone else. Not even a "wait." Is there anyone else on YouTube that openly declares their Christianity on their YouTube profile, as I do, and has received a response from her? Not that I have seen.

I think this is a big clue that Cassie is not Christian, especially since we know she is always in character.

ok, i'm really sick of this 'why doesn't daniel (claim to) remember cassie?' crap. In my high school we had over 500 people in our 'class' meaning our grade, but we always referred to it as our class. No, i don't remember every single one of them. I didn't even know who some of them were when i was still in high school. Maybe they just attended a large school and the semantics are getting in the way. Maybe Bree asking Daniel about Cassie caused him to ask someone else about it and maybe he found out something he didn't like. Maybe not, because he's never mentioned her in his videos, but i think he may in his next in response to Bree talking about her....I think people are reading into that one particular question way to deeply.

just my opinion.

Excellent! I didn't take it as a slight, so I apologize that it came across that way! Just adding my voice to the mix, especially since no one else really addressed Kelrast's post.

BTW, I find it incredibly difficult to believe that the cluejack was a part of the plan to begin with. It would be self-defeating for the PMs to confuse the players in that manner. I just don't think the Casket has ever been anything other than a prank by MScassie.
