To be fair the word occult has many meanings, and Cu Roi is using the fourth definition of the word. However, Christianity does not contain any "hidden teachings or knowledge". Everything that is part of practicing Christianity is taught in the New Testament by Jesus and the apostles. There are no secret rituals, no hidden teachings, and no hidden knowledge. Now, that is not to say that people throughout history have not taken their own interpretations and started cults based on a few select verses in the Bible, but that does not make them Christian, nor a part of Christianity.
