Hee! I suppose they can be. Mine were actually on my stomach--well, lower chest/upper stomach. Shingles is in the same family as Chicken Pox. If your around someone who has shingles, and you have not had the chicken pox you can get the chicken pox. Shingles can be like anywhere. They are supposed to be pretty painful too.
