Personally I think Jonas is a smokescreen. I could share my reasons, but where would be the fun in that?... Yes, he may be canon, but not all official information is useful information.

Awe, such a cute video, you know what? I'm very nervous about this missing room key. I'm very excited that Jonas is canon.

I think in the end Bree was re-reading the picture her parents left her. That's my guess anyway.

If they are hiking in Caballero Canyon Trail which is on the North end of Topanga State Park then they sure haven't gone very far on their road trip, and it kind of blows my theory that Bree went to the movies in Lancaster, CA. although it's still possible, but it would be a couple hours drive.

I thought when they fled the watcher Bree had Daniel drive "to the middle of nowhere", they are still in the middle of LA

To paraphrase Tachyon, the thing I hate about running is that I always leave something behind.

Add to that the fact that Bree is doing anything she can NOT to concentrate on the important stuff, and you end up with . . . a room key gone missing.

I'm dying to find out the ramifications of this.

I suppose we're overlooking the fact that, to some adolescents, "middle of nowhere" constitutes any spot from which you cannot reach our one arm and physically *touch* a mall. Or maybe a Starbucks.

Awesome video. Very sweet and creative how they did Thanksgiving on turkey (Jerky) and mashed potato (chips). Bree and Daniel have amazing chemistry and it shows. I really hope their relationship continues to progress.

Also, I really dig how in the recent videos (basically every one after her parents got disappeared) even the best of times have an omnimous and forbidding undercurrent. Even before Gemma pointed out the Watcher's hand, I still got the creepy being-watched undercurrent from Breakfast in Bed. Losing her room key is definitely NOT a good thing... the fact that they would mention it on tape is definitely a clue for us that something... is going... to happen.

I think something bad is going to happen soon.

Well, this is in the exact same area where all the other videos are being filmed...in the West San Fernando Valley and in the Malibu mountains...all of it. Trust me...I live in not far from Reseda Blvd and am very familiar with that area around Braemar.

Nah...those aren't theaters in Lancaster. I was born and raised in Lancaster, and I honestly don't think they've gone out that way at all. Besides, it's only an hour's drive to Lancaster from the Valley. Trust me. I live in Tarzana and travel to the north end of Lancaster on a regular basis to see family. I'm guessing they went up into Agoura or Thousand Oaks, but I don't see them going up to Lancaster/Palmdale at all.

If they start showing desert shots, though...then we'll know where they are.

They're filming stuff in the Valley...but it's like the Vasquez rocks. That park is used for tons and TONS of film shoots, and has been called everything from Bedrock to Mars...it's just part of a story, and I don't think all that specific to a particular area.

HOWEVER, the LG vids are very closely edited it seems, so it does seem odd taht theyd show an identifying markers.


But, yeah...if this is supposed to be "literal" (which I don't think it is) then, no...they haven't gone on a road trip at all...they've just driven a couple miles to another location.

I so want this series to mesh with Sam has 7 friends... Awesome. Clearly if this series is about what people show to the real world, then maybe we are missing something about Bree. She shows herself as bright and spunky, but maybe there is a dark side... No one would go on Youtube and post videos displaying their evil plans or mental insanity. Well, maybe insanity- I've seen alot of crying videos. But we are only seeing what Bree and Daniel want us to see. There is probably alot going on that we don't see.

The helicopters are back.

Let me tell you about the helicopters...it's probably nothing related to the video. Seriously. I live in the area...not more than 2 miles from where this video was shot. Helicopters are common as can be out here. News copters regularly fly over the freeways, police copters are constant too. Plus the private (an military) copters in and out of Pratt & Whitney/Rocketdyne...good grief, I hear those all day long at work.

Plus, a lot of the copters have their "home base" at the Van Nuys airport...also not very far away from that area.

Maybe he's hinted at running away from Bree? Coz he's talking and she speaks over him, then rushes to say it's about the sign about dogs, and somehow relates that to beasts. Maybe she was actually trying to start a coversation, but he looked so happy she decided not to


And the fact that he deliberately says they'll go to a cafe and post this, showing that they won't have gone straight back to the motel and posted it there, bit of a cliffhanger don't you think? with the whole key thing in your mind. Because if he didn't point it out and everyone thought they posted it at the motel, then said 'when we got back blahblahblah' everyone would be all "but how'd they post it??? LIES!"

Taking precautions

I have been catching up on OpAphid but, fortunately, I was already watching Jonas before this new video! For once, I'm not completely behind! How do the rest of you make time for all of this? I can hardly fit in Bree, Daniel and Gemma! Now I have to watch OpAphid, and Jonas? Well, I suppose I will just leave it up to the fans with a luxurious amount of time to do the research! It is better this way....We all know trainer101 is more brilliant than myself, (and many others....you know it!) Which brings me to Nikki! She is another helpful fan! I am really anxious for her next video! I hope she goes to the canyon. I wonder what she thinks of Jonas....

As far as the comment about Daniel being on a leash is concerned....I think it may imply that he should be within sight of Bree because he is not trustworthy. Or it could just be a reinforced metaphor about Daniel's frustrations, which he expressed in his last video. He was talking about how his life has been significantly altered because of Bree's problems.....Well, more than that....His life has been put on hold for now. He is being completely selfless. He is as loyal as a dog but also as helpless....It's all about her. He can only react. Wow, this is not going to make sense to anyone. Sorry, but I just thought the leash remark was profound.

Creators: I will no longer refer to you in quotes. I am sorry for ever doubting your talent! I like that you involve the fans and their ideas but I see that you DO have some ownership to the story. There is evidence of a story plot in this video. Also, it had all the elements needed at this time! Such a refreshing video. I mean, I wasn't the only one growing impatient! But it truly had the precise balance! So, thank you! I hope to see the future videos follow suit!

I can't believe they're not even trying to make it look home-made any more There are some points when clearly neither Bree nor Daniel is holding the camera. *sigh*
