I thought about this too, and it depends on the timeline.

I am leaning towards the fact that:

Daniel says in the video "Its all good"

The the video was likely taped before the cell phone msg so the cell phone msg was to warn Bree and Jonas that it is in fact no good. So when they see the video they will know that Daniel has another opinion than what is shared.

Daniel could be acting compliant and in fact wanting to be part of the order for a reason as well.

Question for the masses: Since I am new to the breeniverse, did Daniel ever mention that he was in college before now? I thought he was supposed to be a kid? Bree is supposed to be 16. How old is Daniel supposed to be? Did he ever mention any kind of jobs before?

I like the theory about the video being filmed before the message 'no good'

Daniel graudueted last summer and is thought to be 19 (and Bree is btw 17)

This video gave me the chills just because it's so creepy the way he's talking. Now he says everything is good there and that doing the ceremony is good and not doing it is bad and that, "we have daniel" ack!!

I have to say...this video is AWESOME! I loved it. Good acting too.

The shirt he was wearing when they last saw him was a tan polo with a white t-shirt underneath. The t-shirt we see him in now looks like the one he was wearing in "On the Run" - http://www.lonelygirl15.com/?p=99&play=1. I don't buy the "editing things he said to make it appear like he's talking" theory - he's never talked about Spin art. So, he's obviously changed clothes and is brainwashed. His demeanor is creepy.

WHat in the hillbilly loving was that all about! Danny B, oh please! I think thats even kinda cheeseballish for Daniel. As for Oppy having him, SHe better not hurt Daniel. Or, I will be forced to execute a search and rescue. Hopefully Bree and Jonas, otherwise known to me as dumb dog, now. WIll find DB before it's to late. I dont wanna see Daniel become the order. I would rather have my big toe cut off, as to that.

And.. I guess one could edit what Daniel is saying, with good edit-skills, but I just don't think that is the case

why would bree's dad want to be shot and killed? That right there makes it seem like this is not daniel's thoughts at all.

The deciphering of the symbols was done by too many people for me to give credit to everyone. However, they might not be correct. Anyway... I can only take credit for tying things together and showing where the cuts are. Anyone is welcome to make corrections... especially when it comes to the symbols.

This is INSAINE! Its the weirdest video yet and his voice sounds so weird durring parts and I can't belive what hes saying! God I don't know whats going on I can't think logically. I just want Daniel to be okay!

o.k., so, maybe I am a litle off here. What if, ( at this int any thing is possible). Daniel, isnt with us anymore. Like maybe the order killed him just like Bree's dad. maybe this vid, and possibly others, were done earlier. They would know that as long as Bree thought they had Daniel that she would come for him. Also, what if, just maybe Jonas was a plant of sort's. Bree has been alone with him all this time. So she is getting to know him rather well and she has no choice but trust him right now. What if Jonas was the one chosen to partake in the ceremony with? I dont know. Could be possible. Never know!
