I don't think Bree and Jonas will hook up... but I am hoping they are siblings. Personally... I think they respond to each other very much how me and my brother responded to each other growing up. Sometime we were best friends, playing and laughing about the silliest stuff... the next, my brother was treating me exactly as Jonas is treating Bree. "Unnatural" is a pretty big statement, and I'm not sure it really holds up here. Given that an attraction for another human being as a mate can be emotional or sexual (both of which are natural aspects of the human condition - the desire for affection and sex), it's difficult to label it unnatural. Especially given that incest aversion is a societal taboo enforced by norms, not biology.

Anthropologists aren't necessarily the best people to be making guesses like that about genetics. They're highly-learned individuals - but not necessarily in that area.
