What's up with the merging and changing of threads, it makes the order of posting very confusing!

So if it isn't Exodus 2:2 it may be the chapter. So Exodus 22 is basically the chapter dealing with the laws of the covenant that was set up.

The most famous phrase is "thou shall not suffer a witch to live" since it gave birth and religious justification to witchunts across the ages.

Also, Bree's occultist leanings might be interpreted as witchy!

Exd 22:17 If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

Exd 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Exd 22:19 Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

So, maybe "between the virgin and the beast" might mean between the passage referring to the virgin and the one referring to the beast. And "Moses armed the evil priest" might mean arming him the commandment, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I realize that one can make connections out of anything, but, for the love of Christ, what research team is behind Cassie? I find it difficult to believe that some of these contrivances are pure coincidance, given their number.

Maybe the "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" refers to some other religious people trying to stop the ceremony so the moonchild isn't born or for some other reason. Maybe the "evil priest" isn't the one performing the ceremony?

Just what I was thinking. Maybe a second group composed of very litteral-minded christians has been hunting down and murdering the young girls that are taking part in this ceremony claiming that the girls were witches.

It wouldn't be the first time that happened.

Hmmmmm maybe Daniel's role is to stop Bree...haha..maybe our role is to write their movie for them..haha..anyway... just thinking about Daniel's reading choices... maybe Daniel is a christian that has been charged with stopping the Moonchild... OR... He may have a role very similar to the Crowley story Moonchild...The EVIL priest is from a secret offshoot of the Thelemites...and Daniel is actually from a Good Branch..and Bree's parents are unwitting dupes.

Cu_Roi..so say the occultists are the bad guys..but they are also the good guys...that would be a page straight out of Moonchild...

I don't know if this helps but Moses means "to draw out" from Exodus 2:10.

Did cassie post a bible page online?

The passage was from Numbers, a part of the Pentateuch, aka The Book(s) of Moses, since until fairly recently it was assumed that Moses wrote Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy
