Agree with toadlguy 100%...
What are the chances of ANYONE finding that house?
Needle, haystack?? more like splinter, the 'travel back in time' ride.

Pretty good, and that's why I said what I said. The Admins are right to persuade peolple against going there, but the "creators" were negligent. Ya, it's probably not a big deal, but probable is a weak word.

This is the creators board (and, I think, their house). Of course it was correct to to tell people not to go there - but really, why is this house different from the other 2 million houses in the LA area that are filmed all the time in movies / TV whatever. Are CiW fans rabid?

Zoolomaier- I guess you haven't seen what this community is capable of, these Cassieites are resourceful! They are also decent people, it's those damn lurkers I'm scared of!
toadlguy- I don't know what else to say except, see above.

Well I'm resourceful and I have the address, which I found a couple months ago when I was researching the whole 'is lg15 real' meme in its heyday. I have viewed the house via satellite to confirm that it's the same house, so it's not just any old house that could be anywhere. But I'm certainly not going to go visit there, and I'm not going to give this information to anyone because it doesn't matter and has nothing to do with what we talk about here, which is the cassieiswatching stuff. I also think people should mind their own business and not stalk or delve into the personal lives of the artists behind these works. When I figured out lg15 was a art film, I kept it to myself and didn't go blasting it all over the internet and issuing self-congratulatory press releases (like some people, people who also didn't bother to stick around for the good part) because that whole elementary school routine of yelling 'fake' is just plain dumb in my not so humble opinion. Focus on the art, stick to the rules, stay safe, and have fun.

This post by the
Admin was quite interesting, and informational, and I thought I should share it with everyone.
Admin wrote:Please do not go there since it is not part of the interactive game. Thank you, and keep having fun. More interactive elements to come.
EDIT: Draw your own conclusions from that statement, but the only game element of this story I'm familiar with is CiW. Bree is interactive to some extent, but there isn't a game involved. (Yet.

so, are the creators deciding to be a little more restricted in their future videos?
I mean, seriously, there was a HUGE flurry over the first two cassie videos that resulted in people goin for the locations. They had to have noticed that!!!
It was COMPLETELY irresponsible of them to video the front of the house, not just a quick glance, but a study of the front of the house!!!
I agree people shouldn't go to it as we have all been "informed" that we are to not approach. But really, if someone goes up to the house, with no ill-intention, I would hope there are no repercussions. Now if some fool goes roaming around or stalking or such, fine, that's cause for alarm -- which may even be a good reason to close down the game, be cautious for any more CiW postings to NOT occur, completely, and entirely through complete legitimate channels disavow any association with it -- come clean if there was past association. The safety of the crew and the audience and innocent civilians should be utmost.
Trespassing... yeah, that's not gonna stop those hardcore ARGers. Who knows what the lurkers are like.

I agree with all of this. I had been part of a thread that was disscussing the location after "Who is that?" went up. Buit I didn't think anyone was really going to try and go there. I also don't think if there was a drop, that it would be at the house. It doesn't really go with the story. The creepier location is the park, or grassy knoll or whatever. Thats a better drop point. However if cassie isn't cannon, there is no way to know where either point is. That house looks like every house in so cal.

Someone in a few other forums who works construction in California found the house, got permission from the owners to shoot some pictures, and posted them on a different site. I had commented about what he did being legal (as a former journalist, I know what separates trespassing from legal), and I was hoping that it would put an end to the whole house thing. It seemed like a beneficial post, but Nora deleted the whole thread. Not sure why, since the guy got permission, but there ya have it.

How do you know that he really had permission?

I suppose it's possible he could have lied about it, or about working in construction and actually been a dumb teenager. But why wouldn't you take him at his word? It's not like he was breaking into the house or taking pictures of anything showing the location (ie invasion of privacy) like a car's license plate or the house number on the mailbox. He was just illustrating what the house looked like, which kinda fit in neatly with Bree's world. And it was a good way to close out the whole house issue (or so I thought until Nora deleted it, and thus it's still going on).
Edit: I'll let this drop, since I think I made my point, and Nora's going to delete the posts anyway.

Because this fansite belongs to the Admins, and the Admins have stated both publicly on the board and privately to the mods that:
a) they do not wish for any identifying information regarding that house to be posted
and b) that they do not want fans going there, and by extension, they do not want fans to be enouraged to go there through this board, because they feel such behavior is intrusive to the homeowners and their neighbors.
It is as simple as that: Admin fiat, which we will obey.

You're all kidding, right? What you are saying is the Creators want an interactive game, but no one should leave their house.
Haven't they been observing the cassieiswatching activity? Should they have filmed the house if they didn't want people to find it?
The Learning To Drive video locations are obscured. And, the grassy knoll at the end of Who Is That? could be anywhere. The Creators could easily have disguised the house with a close-up of the driveway and front door only, but they didn't. As previously mentioned in this topic the video was practically a case study of the house.
Personally, I wouldn't bother the inhabitants, but I say if you find it then post it. The info on this location combined with the other two parks could help players locate the grassy knoll and isolate future locations. We might even be able to find the loading dock in the Learning To Drive video.

The official lonelygirl15 ARG has not yet begun, so, yeah.
