My guess? Daniel liked Cassie or went out with Cassie. (After all, he likes girls who get made fun of, ie Bree.) So he was playing dumb, and when she realized she might have feelings for Daniel, she asked about him...

I think the conflict there is in relationship issues, not their religion.

I would venture to say that any friend Bree makes her parents try to get them in that little camp to see if they're acceptable friends or not

Well, Cassie is 2 years older than Bree...Possibly she had gone through it already and didn't want to be around it anymore. Maybe it was disturbing to her and she never even talked about her involvement with the religion to Cassie.

But seriously, I think Bree is not totally on the level about Cassie. Not only what I put in my last post, but the fact that when Daniel asked about how she knew Cassie (or whatever I forget the exact wording) all she said was that she walked the track with her. Seeing as Bree wasn't exactly Miss Popularity, I think she would have mentioned her ONE, SINGLE friend to her ONLY OTHER FRIEND.

And if Daniel is smart, which I think he is, I think that the next vid we see from him is going to focus on that.

And screw Bree....she's all up in some crazy shit. Daniel better follow her! I want to see the ceremony, damnit!!!

Personally, I think the creators are distancing themselves further from ciw by explaining Cassie, since they've been watching our theorizing all along. They're trying to make Cassie more real and less important (I think). That's why I'm guessing the issue with Cassie is more of a triangle thing. (Bree & Cassie = friends. Daniel & Cassie = relationship. Bree & Daniel = relationship.)

I don't think we should be tied into the whole religion thing w/ Cassie, since it's entirely based on our own theories (and some clues from ciw, which may or may not be canon).

You know, the thing is this: someone (Daniel or anyone) needs to point out that the only people Bree has contact with are her fellow Thelemites(?). I am certain her little helper is one of them. That is not healthy. She's very isolated. Even if her religion is harmless (which it's totally not...she was SCARED? about the ceremony), you should have more friends than she does. This whole situation is shady. She needs Daniel to make sure she's ok.

Yeah, I thought of that as well, but continuity errors bug the hell out of me! Seriously, with the way the LG15 community pours over the vids, you'd think the Creators would make sure things like that dont happen?

Oh I thought the same thing when she said that her "helper" helped her to realise that Daniel chose not to be there for her. Chose not to be there? That's not true.

Bree talks about Cassie and her religion in the same sentence. If that isn't a clue to tie the religion thing with Cassie, then I don't know what is.
