Hey Sarah - the thing about Daniel is that he is a really nice guy but the minute a girl shows interest in him he just clings on like mad. I think its to do with his folks. He never got any thing close to a loving relationship growing up so he really goes all out when there is any chance affection.
To be honest I hear you were once quite a bubbly sort until your dad left your mom for a younger model - are you sure you aren't pushing Daniel away because you dont like the idea of getting emotionally close to someone? (Whoah thats a tricky one, you dont like emotions and Daniel is probably one of the most emotional guys you are likely to meet!)
Anyway hang in there you may find there is a happy medium somewhere between you both.

I agree. DB is scared you'll leave him (most girls have). But still. A girl needs her space!

That is the worst idea ever!
(Sorry Sarah but Spencer is way to cool for you... and by cool I mean nerdy and awesome.)

Agreed. I was about to say something along those lines.

Just dump him and find a real man.

I agree as well.
Sarah, I don't get you. You wanted DB's attention and now you got it, and now you don't want it.
Personally that angers me. And you have to realize that right now, you're the only other person DB can hang out with. What's he supposed to do, be alone? He wants some companionship, and he's probably bothering you because Jonas is gone. And Bree. He doesn't have anyone else to bother.
Either way, just tell him. If he hasn't already read this for himself.

Now, I do not want to over dramatize the situation at hand, but I am feeling a bit claustrophobic at the moment because of a particularly clingy friend.
Sarah, t's kind of unfair to complain that a guy is clingy after the way you led him on! You were all over him like white on rice until you got him . . . I feel much sympathy for Daniel. Is it possible that you only wanted him until he fell for you?
This can sometimes be a symptom of low self-esteem, as illustrated by
Groucho Marx's classic statement, "I don't want to belong to any club that would accept me as a member."
