ffxi is nothing like ff12... at all.
and the game, in opposite of most of mmorpg's, actually has a plot, you even have cutscenes.
and the game is actually pretty good, but it's one of those games, that you love it or hate it.

It was just depressing for those of us who waited a few years for an FF game and finally one comes out... except we don't have the money to pay a monthly fee!! Or a good enough computer to play it on. Frustrating!!

FF12 supposedly has a similar battle system to 11. But I wouldn't know since I didn't play 11.

And to whoever mentioned Pokemon... I'm 22. I own Pearl :P I don't really like the newer pokemon that much. I mean sure it's a ton of fun, but I HATE HATE HATE the new pokemon added to this game. Most of them suck :(

the computer thing is not such a big deal, because the game doesnt use many resources which is pretty cool :D

Well back when it came out I had a laptop with a 16 MB graphics card. Let's just say that it couldn't handle FF11 at all :P

I've enjoyed computer games since ... well ... just about since PC's came out. There was a Star Trek game that involved a grid of asterisks that you'd "fly" around in your starship to explore. Each grid location could have any combination of asteroids, Klingons, and a starbase. I was fascinated. I could sit and play that game for hours.

My current addiction is World of Warcraft. I've had that silly game since the week of release and I'm still engrossed.

I'll probably end up getting an Xbox360 when Halo is released. I've had a bunch of consoles over my lifetime, but I haven't played any of them in probably a year.

Yeah, well, it still doesn't compare to actually being in her physical presence, but we each must make sacrifices, I reckon.

Anyhhhways... I'm just counting the days until God of War for the PSP finally comes out.
