It definitely looks like some sort of ghostly figure, there's a black spot that shouldn't be there and what looks like a transparent body underneath. You can see it a bit more clearly in the screen caps.

it's definately a figure. the black spot=hair IMHO

probably far too low quality for us to ever know though =(

it sucks.. see.. i'm extra good at detective-type stuff, but i suck at computer-editing type stuff, haha.

im pretty sure the compas is a big clue...its in there twice....is it normal for a compas to have two arrows?

a better screen cap of the painting. i assume it's the one frank spoke about in the chat, that cassie or somebody had stolen from him.

im guessing the painting was done by a european artist.... im guessing brittish from the look of it.... does anyone know what that style of painting is called? or maybe the brushstroke? it could narrow down the serch a bit... i cant think anymore though.... im way too sleepy, ill catch back up with you in the morning.

Yes its normal to have two arrows, One always points North and the other one you set for the direction you need to go in. This one is pointing to East.

frank also put a video up today :)

however this looked interesting to me if you turn the image around you can try and pick out something from what your left with. It's taken from the last second of the new cassie video.

i found a web site with clown paintings and i'm pretty sure they're painted by the same artist who painted frank's painting cuz they have the same style but i can't figure out which one and the series of the painting is called "circus clown"...
